Ali, 15 Sep 2024Using magic 6 pro for last 3 months. Used samsung htc huawe... moreyesterday my Waze apps stop working.
It auto close once i open the apps.
Now gonna reset and restart to use again.
see how it goes.
My battery life is kinda disappointed as SoT is around 6hours to 6 hours 30mins but alot reviewer said it can last for 8 hours. I wonder whats goes wrong...
And yes, the mobile data is not stable. After stream for sometimes, it will stop for awhile and then resume back...

There is 1 very annoying physical problem with this phone - the screen is extremely easily scratchable.
For below 2 months it has more scratches (some of them deep) than my 3 years old Xiaomi 10. Forced to return the screen protector, and will have to keep replacing it, guess every year, as it also scratches easily.
Besides that the software has few annoyances (especially the date, why only American format MM/DD//YY), as well as some advantages over Xiaomi - but Xiaomi is definitely much more polished software.

They do in depth testing for all the flagship phones. And mind you this phone is the only one that still works in near to zero degrees, new battery tech.

I have this phone for almost a month now. Before this I had Huawei nova 5t. My wife still has that phone as daily driver and I must say that photos from M6P are (no surprise) 1000 times better, sharper, more vivid and less grainy. Now that is compared to the old mid-range phone. I enjoy this amazing screen and incredible performance. No lag. Great photography (although I am an DSLR user, this phone gets job done incredibly well when needed to make wonderful memories). Minor drawback imo is that camera sometimes could be inconsistent with WB and ISO. Also, I like my photos a with a bit less exposure, which all can be adjusted in pro-mode. And also after few days without a screen protector I found few micro scratches, so I slap an screen protector on it. This happens on S24 and iphones as well (so I heard). Overall amazing phone, but not perfect - because such thing does not exist :)

Babak, 03 Oct 2024is it wise to change Xiaomi 14 ultra with Magic 6 pro?Not sure If there is any additional value from 6 pro. But for pleasure and to experience definitely you can try.
I had similar thought, I have X100 Pro, but I guess x100 pro is too good just can't let it go

M6pro seems to have been taken off shelves in India barely a week after it was launched, or its limited stocks not filled once they got over. I cant seem to find any m6p online on their site or any other online store in India.

display dimms under sunlight after literally a minute and takes awhile before you can increase it again, dealbreaker

Cameras are indeed great.
Night photography is astonishing.
Video switching between different zoom is a bit jerky and doesn't keep the same white balance.
The OS is a disappointment. It lacks many useful basic features that you can find on a much cheaper Poco F5.
Hopefully future updates will fix that (probably not)
