Honor Magic7 Lite unboxing

Today, Honor unveiled the Magic7 Lite for the European market and we've got an unboxing for you!

It's a short one, though - you only get the phone with a SIM eject tool and the USB-A to USB-C cable.

The Magic7 Lite is a rebadged Honor X9c, which debuted back in November and is selling in Malaysia and Singapore. While the Magic7 Lite and X9c are nearly identical, the Magic7 Lite is IP64-rated against water and dust, while the X9c holds an IP65M rating with protection from water jets.

The Magic7 Lite is a svelte phone with a thickness of just 8mm and a weight of 189g. It has equally curved front and rear panels and a thin frame. You'd never guess this chic device packs a mammoth 6,600mAh battery just by holding it! Honor boldly claims the phone can withstand a 2m drop to concrete though we wouldn't try it.

The display is a punchy 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED. Things run decently smooth thanks to a 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 with 8 gigs of RAM. The OS of choice is Honor's MagicOS 8 on top of Android 14.

That's all we have on the Honor Magic7 Lite right now, but if we get the chance we'll do a full review down the road.

Exactly. It's not like their charging solution is a universal one.
