hey all, i'm looking forward to grabbing this phone in a day or two - but can a recent magic owner tell me about their gaming performance? my honor pad V9 is very stingy with it's high refresh in games, and drops frames frequently, so I probably wouldn't want any of that sorta deal with a new phone. many thanks in advance.

      I have been using the phone a for a while now. Found so much intresting things. 1st about the camera photography is impressive but unfortunately the videography is not that great. But there is a mistake I noticed in this spec sheet. That the bluetooth doesn't offer LE Audio. I didn't know that. And that was very new.

                  I was previously using an iPhone SE, then switched to the Pixel 7 and 8.
                  However, due to persistent bugs with the Google phones, I ended up returning to the iPhone 16 ecosystem.

                  Recently, I got my hands on this Honor phone — and honestly, I’m genuinely much happier with it.
                  I don’t miss my iPhone at all.

                  Well done, Honor!

                  Note: I was never really an Android fan, but this phone is definitely changing that.

                    Honor Magic 8 Pro needs to have bigger haptic motor and proper flat display (like Honor 400 but higher res).

Coming from the m... moreI'm really loving my M7P, I came from using a Samsung S25U and this is a way better device in many aspects. I just wish they added AI Summarize that works with Chrome. Like it does on a OnePlus device. Maybe in the future they will, perhaps in MagicOS 10.

                        the Honor magic 6 Pro still beter at 6 place.
                        Im quite disapointed with out of focus of camera , thus after some people from internet claims some recent updated makes things better.

                          Oh, why no DXOmark assessment yet, except for screen quality - is it that it hasn't improved on the M6P much (removal of the variable aperture etc)?

                            I bought both - the M7P's UI is slicker, there's less quirks, it's even nicer in hand (it's very slightly narrower but makes a difference when using one handed). Honor's updates are more predictably regular. And in thr UK there's often a sale on /discount code so it's price hovers around the £800 mark.

                            The 15U has a better camera hands down - output from it is just more "proper camera" and less "computational phone". My purchase came w the camera case kit and it's a superb package if you're very photo centric. The UI is a little clunky - hard to explain but in use I'm usually shouting "Garh!" maybe once a day lol. Silly things how apps have to be manually updated no matter what the settings say, and it's the Xiaomi appstore that prompts it. And Android updates - again manual updates only (here in the UK) and good luck searching for it in the settings.

                              I've had this phone for a while now. Coming from the m6p this is an upgrade trust me. I took pictures and everyone wants copies of the shots. Battery holds way longer than the previous. Phone is just a beauty to behold. Ai is brilliant on here. Device is freaking snappy too. I'll be here for a while.
