Phone slipped out of my hand and landed flat. Screen cracked.
When I bought the phone in the opening week from Honor direct it said 'HONOR Screen Protection 1 Time within 180 Days (HONOR Store Exclusive) - For HONOR Magic7 Pro'
So I sent it in and they have told me the fault isn't covered under warranty but is 'under the screen damage protection.'. (My english is fuzzy but can someone translate if their protection is worth the paper it's written on)... because there are no good screen protectors for this phone. No good cases. It has a curved screen at edge. It's going to break and they know it.
If you would like to fix it pay 54.00gbp/ 70 dollars.

Don't buy the EU/UK Honor magic 7 Pro with the small battery..

I have an Honor V2 and the cover screen just had to be replaced. The phone is great but I feel like I'm missing out in terms of cameras in comparison to a traditional flagship. Would anyone advise me to switch to this honor Magic7 pro?, I am scared of cracking my v2 again and worst would be to crack the inner screen.

I have a Huawei (Mate 20X), so I really want to like the Honor, but the camera results in many reviews are shockingly disappointing. I tried OP13 the other day, and I really liked it. Its off-center camera-island was always a no-go for me, but I noticed it didn't bother me at all when I tried it in real life. It's a beautifully crafted phone, and feels great. Speakers sound nice and balanced. Camera results are consistently good overall in most of the reviews I've seen.

As is known, the Magic7 Pro is sold in Europe and the UK in a 12GB/512GB configuration with a reduced battery of 5270 mAh at a price of around €1200. At the same time, through the Tradingshenzhen website it is possible to get - from the European warehouse! - not the Chinese, but the global version (with all European languages supported) in the 16GB/1TB configuration with a 5850 mAh battery at a price of €1097. So there IS a version with a normal battery that can be purchased in Europe from the European warehouse, but it is not the "official" version. The "official" European version has a downgraded battery and is sold at a significantly higher price.
Honor is not the only manufacturer that deliberately reduces battery power for some markets outside its home country, while increasing the price of its flagships. Xiaomi does this for almost all markets outside of China (both the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra are sold outside of China with reduced batteries and significantly increased prices), and Vivo for some European markets.
At the same time, fairy tales are told to naive consumers. The EU and its regulations are often unfoundedly accused, but it is absolutely clear that the manufacturers are doing this on purpose. Honor is the best example. Not only do they sell their Magic7 Lite model with a 6600 mAh battery on the European market (no "regulations" about battery power bother them there), but we see that they sell (via proxy) on the European market a 16GB/1TB model with the same battery as in China, and that model, with a larger memory and battery, is cheaper than the "official" model for Europe.
In addition, just as racing cars with a tractor engine cannot be sold under the same name, products that contain different (changed, reduced, degraded, etc.) components (in this case batteries) should be clearly labeled as such, because it is not the same product. However, this is not done.. So this is a deliberate deception of customers and it would be time for greedy manufacturers to start being held accountable for their actions.
I believe that impartial media, reviewers and everyone involved in presenting such devices should clearly warn against this practice of manufacturers aimed at unfoundedly increasing their own profits by exploiting the naivety and helplessness of the buyers of their products.

i know that the honor magic will eventually use a
media tek chip set one day and it seems that the
honor magic 8 series will use the dimensity 9500
i couldnt care less about the 5 x android updates
just give back the 10 x optical zoom 100 x digital
zoom with the 7680fps super slow motion & also
add the ip66 +68 +69k and with the latest kunlun
glass bassalt tempered +also a new back design
& im ready to try it as my first honor from huawei
!

No support for Ultra Wideband (UWB), meaning Teslas cannot automatically open trunk/frunk handsfree like with older Pixel 8 pro and other phones.
Photos seems a bit more blurry at times than Pixel for people walking in indoor lighting.
Also zoom above 10x for photos is only working sometimes, no idea why. My main issue as Pixel 8 pro is not reliable for Google Pay and I sometimes suspect calls are not ringing for more than a seconds as I find lost calls with all sounds on. So probably I'll switch for Samsung or iPhone as Honor seems to be a downgrade - though faster CPU.

Honor is the best package a phone can offer this year.... It doesn't have the best camera but its top 10 without a massive camera bump..... It has the smallest battery (5850)but it's the most optimized so it's top 5 in battery life... It has the best screen and speakers.... It has dual unlocking security options.... It doesn't throttle and stays cool...... It's Ai capability is number 1(for now) and it's good looking and it's price is just 950$ for 16/1TB for the Chinese version which is awesome ....... If you want even better camera the RSR version is there too but the normal 7 pro is number 1 phone i would recommend to anyone because it's just complete
