Why has the battery capacity of the device in Europe been reduced so much? Many phones I've seen have a smaller battery capacity in Europe than the global version. Does anyone know why?

Like most phones it's missing features that really it shouldn't be but I suspect a lot of people won't care about (no micro SD is unfortunate but 1TB + USB3 should be enough for photos, and needing an adapter for wired headphones is just sad) but it's also got some really cool features of its own. Notably being one of the few non iPhones with 3D face unlock and putting a 200MP sensor on the zoom where really it belongs.
Also really like how everyone's just dropping the glass back.

Will it finally support Ultra HDR photo format? Or is it still closed proprietary Honor only compatible format? Ultra HDR is supposed to be Android HDR photo standard - without it all photos look kinda bad on anything else than Honor device...

[deleted post]This is something we know for like 10 years, so nothing new here. And I couldn't care less the market value if the phone I'm having is really good that able to serve me for 4-5 years, like if I pay that much money to Vivo X300 Pro, then why would I need to change it for next 5 years? And about the resale value, we know even Samsung's best flagship loses its value in couple months because of Android, and the thing you said that no one wants Chinese phones is valid for like maybe North America or North Europe countries, but I can comfortably sell Chinese phones in my country. Though I agree the exchange program part, exchange programs offer way less than actual worth to Chinese phones but I would prefer to sell it as second-hand because I think exchange programs devalue everything too much.

I... moreSame camera lineup with Magic7 Pro but 2 changes: They changed the aperture of main camera from 1.4-2.0 to 1.6 fixed. And there's a new 200 MP telephoto, probably ISOCELL HP9. And it seems they tuned camera well in terms of software this time, it seems they especially improved low-light shots.

Does 5g network speed and coverage will be same as other flagships ?

I watched this Honor Magic 8 series launching on YouTube. Intro more on AI but their AI only for China. Global don't support yet. and this time they didn't mention much on camera. a bit disappointed for this upcoming flagship phone.
