Honor Magic8 Pro to go global on November 27

The Honor Magic8 series, which launched in China on October 15, will finally see its global debut next week.

Honor’s latest flagship lineup will be unveiled in Malaysia on November 27, but it appears that only the Magic8 Pro will be sold in the country. The phone is also expected to launch in Europe soon.

The Magic8 Pro will be available for pre-order between November 27 and December 4. Those who pre-order the phone during the period will be eligible to get a free Insta360 Ace Pro action camera.

The phone will feature a smaller 7,100mAh battery in global markets, compared to the slightly larger 7,200mAh cell on the Chinese model.

The Honor Magic8 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. It sports a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 6,000-nit peak brightness. The phone gets a triple rear camera setup with a 200MP periscope telephoto, a 50MP primary sensor, and a 50MP ultrawide with autofocus.
