Honor Magic8 series to sport a Direct Time of Flight sensor, says rumor

The Honor Magic8 series is rumored to launch in mid-October with several upgrades including improved cameras. A leak has now surfaced online claiming that the upcoming lineup could offer a new sensor.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), the Magic8 series will feature a slightly tweaked rear camera module. It will still be centered and circular in design, but the flash will be placed outside the unit.

The tipster also claims that the phones will offer a new Direct Time of Flight (dToF) sensor for improved depth mapping and another unknown sensor. The phones will be available in black and white colors.

Further, the tipster reiterates the existence of a 200 MP telephoto camera in the Magic8 series. As per recent rumors, the lineup is expected to include four models - Magic8, Magic8 Pro, Magic8 Mini, and Magic8 Ultra. The base and Pro variants are said to launch in October, whereas the other two models could be unveiled early next year.

I don't know how this phone will be but I'm waiting for this phone since march . I heard a lot of positive roumers. Like improvement in battery and camera. But I wonder what the price will be?? I hope under 1000 euro.. We will see. But I�...

Direct time of flight right like anyone will need and use it. A very minority feature.

Honor Magic 8 Pro and Honor Magic 8 Ultra, I have huge expectations from them.
