Honor signed a partnership with Porsche Design, and the first product that was born of the joint venture is the Magic V2 RSR. The RSR letters mean RennSport Rennwagen, which is literally translated as racing sports racing car, while the design of the phone is inspired by the race track version of Porsche 911 cars.

Porsche Design added a couple of cool design elements to Honor's amazing foldable without making the device gaudy or obnoxious. On the contrary, Magic V2 RSR has a deluxe feeling straight out of the box.

The unit ships in a similar retail package as the regular Magic V2, but the contents are far richer and the accessories are more premium. For starters here we have an Honor Magic Pen stylus that connects via Bluetooth.

The color is called Agate Gray, and the back comes with a fiberglass panel and a typical Porsche Design element - the flyline. The trio of cameras is still 50 MP main + 20 MP telephoto + 50 MP ultrawide, but the island is a tetragon with a titanium edge that adds to the premium feel. Since this phone is clearly not going to be cheap, Honor is offering it with its top memory tier – 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage.

The retail box has a leather protective case that snaps snugly on the back panel. It also has a little extension that protects the hinge in folded mode – this is the first case for such a phone that also protects the side without requiring another piece to be attached to the front. That way you can still get the benefits of the sub-10mm foldable and get some solid protection.

The Magic V2 RSR also ships with two chargers and two USB-C cables. Those end up on UK and EU adapters, so you don't need to attach an adapter when traveling abroad. Otherwise the chargers are identical, both supporting 66W output for the 5,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery.

Finally, there's a separate luxurious case for the Honor Magic Pen in the box since the accessory does not attach magnetically to the Magic V2 phone. That way, it will be easier to keep track of where you put it down, although admittedly it adds a lot of bulk.

Performance-wise, we expect the Magic V2 RSR to perform as the regular Magic V2. The review process is already underway; stay tuned for our findings!

Honor doesnt really spell porsche, but ye, if you like it, go for it.

When someone creates a case like this for the V2, the purpose of this phone is ruined.

Looks stunning without the case on
