I've never had a case on it and I'm not gentle with it either. I live in Florida and spend a lot of time at the beach and in the heat. Not ideal conditions for an early generation foldable! The V5 is supposed to be even more rugged (does it really need to be??) so I'm guessing it will be fine! I've already ordered mine because I've been sooooo happy with my V3 that I'm going to pass it along to a family member and enjoy the larger battery, better RAM and updated features of the V5!

It's important to compare the cover screen on V5, which is 20:9 ratio to others, has narrower and taller 21:9....

The global version has launched and people have already gotten their phones. When is the review going to come? Keep reviewing those other unpopular phones and not doing the important ones. Come on, stop wasting time.

idc. Give sabre ess dac + 3.5mm. NOOBS. Good screen with garbage audio is useless device. Make it 9" unfolded. No need to copy Samsung bum company zfold screen size. Or release new gaming foldable since they only one that get 3.5mm jack these days with proper amped speakers. 8000mah battery. 10mm thickness. Don't be useless bich Chinese company. Do better with your attitude.

Import to Eu with Chinese ROM is 1420 euros which is still 600 euros cheaper than fold 7, and there is a charger and case in there too, compared to needing to drop another 100 euros with fold 7.

Anonymous, 03 Jul 2025what a disappointment... after all global version has no 61... moreI have the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, but unfortunately the China ROM, so the only thing this Honor would improve is the OS. Yes the Honor V5 has a newer chipset, but it's not like a year old Snapdragon is slow or in need or replacing, so I totally agree, the Vivo is much better, just get the global version.
