Is the inner display called Magic and outer display called Ultimate or vice versa? Thus it is called Magic vs. Ultimate?
Imagine a Review title, Honor Magic Vs Ultimate Vs. Oppo Find N2

Its not very long ago when Australian gove... morei wont call ip certification as gimmick... it cost something on the part of manufacturers, so it will surely pass on to consumers...
simply put, they have to consider design cues for water and dust resistance, stricter quality check as ingress will assess it...
however, for me, it is just part of feature set, this does not make magic vs less of a foldable phone... even other foldables...
for instance, the find n2, i prefer it over what samsung offers despite of no water and dust resistance... perhaps, because of its different take - a compact foldable...
as for this magic vs, it looks good aesthetically and seems a better device for interconnectivity... more improvent on magic os 7 is something to look forward to...

+ the non ultimate variant does not support stylus, so basically the digitizer is of different version...
so, aside from basic specsheet difference, you are also paying for the digitizer and included stylus...

I foresee more a foldable market with devices like the Flip ones, in all price ranges.

The fact is that device with IP certificat is definetley more resistant to water breach then their counterparts who doesn't have it. I think people don't want to go swim with them but they want to be be protected just in case. Because some cases of you dropping your phone could happend and IP is there to give you at least some sense of security. Most of people knows that you can't get refunded or service for free if yoir device isn't waterproof as the certifacat says and it's the same for every IP product even your Alli Express stuff. You are missing the point of certificat just because you think if certificat says it's waterproof that's 100% the case when it can't be. It just can't, but it's better then no protection at all. Like you said, every phone can put up a few drops of rain. But try to dink it in the water. Most of people will not do that and those few examples of OnePlus phones resist the water is bot meaning every phone can do that. It can but to a certain degree which is not on par with what certificat promises. And it's not promising a 100% proofness because it's imposibble to that.

I never understood the Tablet market. They are expensive, come with bad specifications and the only pro is perhaps the battery. Look at these foldables, they double function, better cameras, better specs, smaller size; in tablet territory ofc, and only difference is the giant battery replaced for a more decent-sized one. Im not hating on anything, I'm just wondering why the Tablet market is like that.

Its not very long ago when Australian government fined Samsung for missleading water resistance adds by 14 millions.
To be more exact and specific as long as any company, phone manufacturer does not include water damage into the warranty the whole IP rating idea is nothing just costly gimmick where noone of users could rely on.
Because when your phone catches sea water or other than clean unrefined water it will dies. Even so called water resistant devices are tested stands still in a water tank with clean water. Try to swim with it for a while and you can buy new phone.
Paying 20-50 bucks for having an IP rating is such a waste when any waterproof case from alliexpress or simmilar site does a lot better job for much less.
So once again unless no company is willing to give or include a water damage to your standart 2 years warranty whole IP rating is nothing just a costly gimick not worth to have.
Even a low grade basic devices can sustain few rain drops.
An on the other side only very stupid and clumsy people would use their phone under heavy rain.
Rest been said.
Costly gimmick as IP rating should not be taken seriously.

I hope these specs are wrong as I can't see where the 50% higher cost is going compared to the normal version, only diffence is slightly faster chip, a bit more ram and ceramic coating on secondary display. Not enough to justify €500 more
