Honor Play 5T Life launches with Helio P35 chipset
Honor has just unveiled the Play 5T Life without any fanfare. The smartphone (also translated as Youth/Vitality edition) has been listed on the Chinese store of the company without even a press release.
Тhe Honor Play 5T Life is powered by a Mediatek Helio P35 chipset, coupled with 6GB RAM. There is 128GB storage, with room for microSD (up to 512GB) in the hybrid slot.
At the front we have a 6.6” LCD with HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch for the 8MP selfie camera. The fingerprint scanner made its way on the side, doubling as a power key.
There are four cameras on the back - 13MP main 5MP ultrawide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensors. There is also a single LED, with the entire setup lined up neatly on a rectangular island.
The battery has 5,000mAh capacity and supports 22.5W fast-charging.
Honor Play 5T Life runs Magic UI 4.0, based on Android 10. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.1, and even a 3.5 mm audio jack on the bottom, right next to the USB-C port and the speaker.
The price of the phone is CNY1,299, which is about $200 or €165. Honor Play 5T Life is available in Blue or Black, and is currently up for pre-order/booking; the first flash sale is scheduled for next week - April 27.

Wow, from Kirin 970 to a P35, They should not have used the Honor "Play" series, this is a dishonor to what Huawei intended Honor to be.
