Honor Play shines on the global scene for €329
Sony announced a new phone, LG introduced two devices and Honor lined up with the big players to announce a global arrival of its cheapest Kirin 970-powered smartphone Honor Play. The device was initially introduced in India with a price tag between $290 and $350, but now it will reach all markets, including the European and North American countries.
Honor Play in Midnight Black, Navy Blue and Ultra Violet
The Honor Play is marketed as a gaming smartphone and as such arrives with GPU Turbo, making it the 8th Honor device with the feature that enhances performance and lowers power consumption. There is also a partnership with PUBG and the phone will support 10 vibrating modes, depending on the different guns you are using in the game.
The Honor Play announcement introduced to the global scene two special color options with some design elements imitating a mainboard - Player Edition Red and Player Edition Black, the latter with red accents around the hardware keys, camera and fingerprint scanner. They round the tally up to five colors, including the standard Midnight Black, Navy Blue, and Ultra Violet (that looks stunning in our hands-on article).
The phone will cost €329/£279 for the 4/64 GB variant, with the Player Edition variants costing €20 more. It will be available both online and offline at all major retailers.
