Honor rumored to go all-in with 200MP main cameras, including for the Magic V6

Honor is going to equip all of its upcoming high-end devices with 200MP main cameras, according to a new rumor from Digital Chat Station on Weibo. The company seems to be going all-in with the 200MP shooters, and is said to use them both on the Magic8 series devices, as well as the Magic V6 foldable smartphone expected to arrive next year.

The Magic8 Ultra will have a 200MP periscope telephoto camera as well, and apparently Honor has ordered a lot of 200MP sensors for use in the near future.

Honor Magic V5

The Magic V5 just launched internationally, after being initially unveiled in China in July, and the Magic8 series is coming between October and December, the brand has already officially revealed. One past rumor talked about October being the launch month, but that isn't confirmed yet.
