Honor shows off Magic6 Ultimate design and starts taking pre-reservations

A week from now Honor will launch a Magic6 Ultimate whose avant-garde design stands out from the Magic6 and Magic6 Pro pair. Starting today, you can drop CNY 100 on a deposit to reserve a unit and score a couple of freebies in the process. Here’s a link to Honor’s Chinese store.

First, Honor is still keeping the hardware details under wraps, but at least now it showed off some of that design. The phone will be available in Ink Rock Black and Sky Purple, both with a leatherette back and stitching.

As a perk for pre-reserving, you will get a free Honor Band 7 (NFC edition) and an Honor Mall Year of the Dragon limited edition medal (it’s a pin, you can have a closer look here). This is after you complete the purchase, of course.

The Honor Magic6 Ultimate will be available with 512GB or 1TB storage. And judging by the markings on its redesigned camera bump, it will have the same lens on the main camera (f/1.4-2.0) and the same 180MP periscope with an f/2.6 lens and up to 100x digital zoom.

The phone will be released on March 18 alongside a Magic6 RSR version (a maxed-out Pro model styled by Porsche Design) and the Honor MagicBook Pro 16. By the way, you can put in a deposit for the laptop (just 1 yuan this time) and also comes with a free Honor Band 7.
