Honor strikes a deal with Porsche Design to bring luxury design brand back to smartphones

Honor announced a partnership with the luxury design company Porsche Design. The deal will see the two companies collaborate on high-end smartphones with the first product coming in January 2024.

This deal basically confirms the Honor Magic6 Porsche Design rumor will become a reality, and that the launch itself is just around the corner.

Stefan Buescher, Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche Lifestyle Group and George Zhao, CEO at Honor

Honor’s path of an independent smartphone company began in 2020, and it's gradually filling the holes left by its former parent. The maker became an industry leader in China and one of the leading smartphone companies in the foldable segment, and now it's taking over the Porsche Design partnership.

We've missed the Porsche Design smartphones, which had some of the most stand-out design in the business.

Most recently, it branded the luxury phones of Huawei, but some diehard mobile fans will remember the BlackBerry P9981 from over a decade ago.

Now, as the company is back, we are eager to see what the Magic6 Porsche Design will look like.

Porsche Design is a different company than Porsche Cars for the people that are unaware. BTW, the 911 is an Icon in the car industry!

ok, lend me the money required or introduce me the person/s at any non-chinese company/sub brand to get the position and i will. you're comment is childish in that you think by designing something it simply materialises.
