Is this phone being lunched for the global market? ,
We need phones like this as the current mid range situation is just terrible, This phones lacks expandable storage but if that is fixed it's the perfect phone to compete. The market is saturated with expects phones that have terrible design, screen, audio and feel on the hand. Lately seems like oppo have taken some notes and have improved their game but It's still not what it used to be.

    This is a not-so-good version of the Huawei Nova 8. Certainly doesn't sound like they are 2 different companies. It should be named Nova 8 Lite

        As for the phone, curved display is automatic no-go. The headphone jack would just be nice to have, so I don't have to buy more of Apple's USB-C DAC's.

            Very small battery, no audio jack, no sd. This phone belongs to the garbage.

              Wait wasn't Honor sold off? I heard that when Honor is sold to another company, then it can be exempted from the ban.

I have used Huawei phones with and without Google. Sure, the one with Google might be better and easier to use, but it is barely a noticeable difference. No Google Play Store? Use AppGallery, it has almost every app I need. No YouTube? YouTube Vance or the mobile browser. The best part is that Chrome still works on Huawei. Gmail? The Huawei email app. Google Maps? Huawei Petal Maps or Google Maps Go.

                      No google play services, less battery, no 3.5mm jack, no memory card slot this phone is a trash
