But I bought the Huawei watch fit 2 with a huge discount of 40% and that's a better buy when it comes to software and features.

Watch Fit 2 supports app installation. I just installed a calculator when I received the watch.

I searched for similar watches and found the Huawei Watch Fit 2 that actually supports app installation.

Got mine for 2 weeks now, and all of a sudden just stop working. Screen is black, and cannot connect with my phone anymore. What can I do?

Just bought this watch about 2 weeks ago. I bought it in South Africa for R1 999 (usually R3 999) on an early black Friday sale. Saw it and thought it looked and felt premium, so I might as well give it a try. It's a bit of a let down if I'm being honest. Look, it's a great watch but, it's purely just a fitness tracking watch, it barely makes it out to be a smart watch. The watch lacks eSim and NFC for payments support, which are features I always use on my Samsung Galaxy Watch 6. The problem is, these features are built into the watch, but for some reason it is locked to China. If I tap the watch on the back of my phone, it very clearly scans an NFC tag as "app/hwoneapp". Alright enough of the negatives, let's get positive.
The watch feels very premium, there are absolutely no visible plastic components on the outside of the watch, it's a glass back and front. The side frame is fully metal so it has a feeling of my apple watch series 8, speaking of which the watch also feature the iconic Squircle design present on an apple watch. I was actually stopped a couple of times by fellow classmates asking if I got a new apple watch.
It has a great speaker and mic, infact it's so good, it's comparable to my old galaxy s21. The sensors are on par with my galaxy watch 6 and apple watch series 8, they all measure certain factors around the same ballpark.
It has a great screen, so much so, that I would call it as good as my apple watch but slightly worse than my galaxy watch 6.
That's all I gotta say, so if you see this on sale, it's worth a grab, but don't expect too much.

This doesn't support eSim, only Bluetooth calling supported.

That seems a bit low even for a device like this.... moreOn a device that's running a very lightweight proprietary OS and that isn't going to have to support 3rd party apps that is likely to be enough RAM. Sure, you're not going to get real time maps or any proper degree of multitasking, but for displaying notifications and acting as a voice sender/receiver for phonecalls, that can be enough RAM.

Actually every watch with 1+ week battery life. It is just they don't spec the ram officially so as not people to post negative comments for their products.

32mb RAM? That seems a bit low even for a device like this. I mean, even cheap Nokia dumbphones usually have 128mb. Not that it matters, it's just odd.
