Honor X20 SE is official with Dimensity 700, impressive 22.5W fast charging
The Honor X20 SE smartphone is finally official - it has a Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset, plenty of storage and three cameras on the back. The debuts in China, but hopefully it will make it globally now that Honor is an independent brand that does need all the overseas sales.
The front panel of the Honor X20 SE measures 6.6” and has Full HD+ resolution. There is a single punch hole in the center for the 16MP selfie camera. Since it is an LCD, the fingerprint scanner is on the right-hand side, acting also as a power key.
The triple shooters on the back include a main 64MP snapper and two auxiliary 2 MP sensors - one for portrait shots, another for close-up/macro images.
The Mediatek chip is accompanied by 6GB or 8GB RAM, and the storage is 128GB. There is no room for microSD in the card tray, but it can take two nano-SIMs and allows dual 5G standby.
The battery capacity is just 4,000 mAh and the Honor X20 SE has 22.5W fast charging support.
The phone comes with Magic UI 4.1, based on Android 11. Since the phone is currently available only in China, we can’t expect it to have Google Services.
The Honor X20 SE costs CNY1,799 ($280) or CNY1,999 ($310), depending on the RAM selected. Honor is offering pre-orders on the X20 SE in four colors - Black, Green, Rose Gold, and Silver with shipping scheduled for July 9.
