                  Most of Chinese people…emm…didn’t mind about chipsets at all.
                  Only a small parts of Chinese think that performance is very important,about 30%.
                  Actually Chinese people prefer Dimensity these years for its ok-ish temperature and great performance.Some people buy sd because manufacturers uses 888 or 8Gen1 for their flagships.
                  But the most important thing is the price I think lol

                      And yea, i do agree SD888 seem easily hot but most CN made phones now are quite good a cooling compared to non-CN ones.

                          A reason people in chinese,especially young people don't like honor because the hardware,mainly the chipset like they put a Dimensity 8000 in honor 70+ but you can buy a redmi note 11t pro which has a 8100 with only half the price of honor 70.So it's not thatattractive for us.

                                        In china we actually don't like this phone very much bcz first it is really hot and second it is a phone from honor...
                                        But some people who loves magic ui or emui may buy this if they need ok-ish performance in a low price
