Honor X50 and X50i debut

The Honor X50 is now official with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, a 108MP main cam and a 5,800 mAh battery with 33W charging. It is joined by the X50i which brings a 90HZ LCD, Dimensity 6020 chipset and a 100MP main cam.

Honor X50

X50 boasts a curved 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1,200 x 2,652px resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. There’s a centered punch hole cutout at the top for the 8MP front-facing cam. The back houses the aforementioned 108MP main cam with f/1.75 aperture alongside a 2MP depth module.

The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset sits at the helm aided by up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The phone packs a 5,800 mAh battery which supports 33W charging and boots MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13. It is IP53 water and dustproof and comes in black, blue, orange and gradient colors.

Honor X50 in its four official colors

Honor X50 starts at CNY 1,399 ($) for the 8/128GB trim and goes up to CNY 1,999 ($) for the 16/512GB model. Open sales in China start on July 14.

Honor X50i

Honor X50i tones down the specs compared to X50. It is built around a flat 6.7-inch LTPS LCD with 1,080 x 2,388px resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device opts for a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset with 8/12GB RAM and 256GB storage. There’s a 100MP main cam with an f/1.9 aperture next to a 2MP depth lens.

Honor X50i

The software side is covered by MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13 while the battery comes in at 4,500 mAh and supports 33W charging. Honor X50i comes in black, blue, pink and gradient colors. It starts at CNY 1,379 ($) for the 8/256GB trim and goes up to CNY 1679 ($) for the 12/256GB version.
