Coming from a 2017 mid range android phone. Everything apart from the screen is an upgrade, but honestly the lower resolution is not that big of a deal. Battery life is great, performance is solid. UI is something else to get used to with the lack of controls at the bottom even in digital form. But its a good deal for someone looking for a budget phone that will last them more than a day. Build quality is solid and you get a case in the box.

For this phone,battery it the only good thing
REST,It overprice as f*uck
Camera I It's more garbage than a $10 S4 camera or 25$ iPhone 6s
Lag It everywhere even in launcher start
The price of this phone must be 30$ or less
There are much cheaper alternatives than this trash

I've been a redmi user and let me tell you that miui is a pain in the ass, nothing in common with emui, magic UI, fun touch, color os, or my ux from Moto. Miui is an abomination to the core, even with a Snapdragon 680, some apps like YouTube freezes intermittently and I have to restart YouTube over and over again. Another annoying thing about miui, the headphones warning

-one of the worst displays it has: TFT LCD
-one of the ugliest SoCs out there: Helio G25
this phone should cost ~130 USD.
