Honor X60 GT design officially unveiled, launch date too

The Honor X60 GT is now up for pre-reservation on Honor's online store in China, and it's due to be launched on April 22. It's part of a trio of "GT" labeled devices that Honor is coming out with next week, the other two being the Honor GT Pro smartphone and the Honor Pad GT.

The Honor X60 GT will complement the already available Honor X60 in the company's portfolio, and it will be offered in the two colorways you can see below.

It is likely to sport a battery with a rated capacity of 6,120 mAh, which will probably translate into an advertised typical capacity of 6,300 mAh or thereabouts. It will support 90W fast wired charging.

Rumor has it the Honor X60 GT will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC (yes, really), paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Or just release a newer processor with that power. There is a massive jump between Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and 7+ Gen 3 with the correspondant cost. Heck, even Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 manages to make a jump, making dangerously near SD 7 Gen 3.

The smaller the camera module, the better. Some ppl just want a cool PHONE with a camera, not a CAMERA with a phone.

Honestly even Snapdragon 865 has plenty of power and is good enough for 99.9% of tasks for normal people. I wish more manufacturers would use older flasghips in their midrange phones but alas, we have what we have.
