the screen is the weakest in this phone.. After 2 years, the screen had broken 3 times, and this time is the worst, just a little crack, and the whole screen starts blinking.. One of the worst experience i had with the screen of this phone.

Using it for a year (4G version). I love this phone. And the recent software update Android 13 with MagicOS 7.1 gave it a fresh look and broaden its functions. The only think I don't really like is the perfoemnace of the front and rear camera in low light conditions. But the rest of specs are working great for me.

Using it after a year (4G version). Good phone. I love the brand new update Android 13 with MagicOS 7.1. Is fantastic. The only thing I don't really like is the performance of rear and front cameras in low light. But the other specs are good enough for me.

Chinese brands are just pricing their phones too high nowadays. For more specs with cheaper price, a Samsung A24 would be a way better option.

Do other countries have a 4G network version of Honorx9? Some parameters are even better than the 5G network version, and magicUI4.2 is pre installed instead of 5.0, which is too outrageous

My Redmi 9T died on me after two years, so I bought this Honor X9 as a quick replacement. Gonna miss MIUI 13. Magic UI 4.2 on this X9 is kind of lackluster compared to MIUI 13 in terms of useful features.
Booting up the X9 for the 1st time, I got slapped with 1GB February patch update and GPSU March update. My dead Redmi 9T was already on Android 12, but this X9 still runs on Android 11 out of the box. So in terms of OS, it's a downgrade... 😑
The battery too. 6000mAh on R9T and 4800mAh on the X9? Lol. Haven't been able to measure the battery efficiency on this X9, but from what I read elsewhere, SD680 is quite efficient in managing the battery.
The only upgrade I have is the slightly powerful processor SD680 6nm vs SD662 11nm, 8+2GB RAM, screen refresh rate 90Hz vs 60Hz and probably the cameras? Sideloaded GCam to compare it with Honor stock camera app. GCam wins! EDIT: 66W vs 22W wohoo! The poor battery definitely gonna bloat in less than two years 🤣.

Jemlim, 29 Jun 2022mate, they are low-end mid-range phones. what do you expect?I love midrangers but this is like an outdated phone. Much like the old Note 8 Pro, and not that cheaper when it was new.

I dont know why the 128 + 8 combination tho? It could had 6 Gigs of RAM an AMOLED display instead or better yet 256gb of ROM.
Love the camera design tho and the Matrix logo.
