Hi Guys,
pls let kno...
i need to kno if there is feature that makes a fone just vibrate from 9:30 am to 6 pm and then change to ring mode. i mean to keep it silent+vibrate between offfice hours.
this is similar to Samsung functionality of having the morning alarm off on weekends and then back on weekdays, so that we can get some seep on sat and sundays.

I had this phone for a month,i like all the feature, you can download any mp3,videos,if you want wifi, get SD wifi card. The only problem that i had with this phone just when i made a phone call after a few minute its kind of static, distortion and some time drop call.I tried to call costumer service (cingular USA),they said go to retailer store for change phone. But when i got there they said call cos.service??????.
I dont know abaut UNLOCK version, but becarfull if you wana get it from Cingular.(2years contrac with no insurance?).So the point is all features is all good, eccept PHONE feature.

              For Jamil Ahmed
GPS Receiver = ground positioning system. That is it tells you where on the planet earth you are at any moment. Giving you the location azimuth ie co-ordinates on Earth. If you have a street map it will show you where the best restaurants, hotels etc are and show you the way. You never get lost with a GPS.

I am very interested in how well the camera works. If you own one of these 6515 models, would you mind taking a picture (of just about anything) and sending it to me so that I can see the quality of the pictures. john@thehinesfamily.com

There was a question about diffrent sound for messages. Yes it is posible to set other sound. All you need is to place .wav (only this type of file i tried) file into main windows dir and that file will be in list of messages/notifications.

I have had the 6515 since it came out in the UK in June 2005.. rev C. If you think it's too big for an everyday phone then why not get yourself a girly phone.. Oh and have you ever heard of a BT headset? This Phone/PDA/GPS/Camera fits in your shirt pocket and you don't get an everyday phone with a screen that size with all the features it packs. I have a SDIO wirless card so I can connect to any open network I walk past, to check my emails etc. and it is capable of WEP/WPA encryption also, which enables me to connect to my home WiFi router. I also have a Gig mini SD in it so I can watch Films play MP3's blah blah blah. To top it off I also have the HP BT headphones for that qualtity sound without wires.

I don't think I will trade it in for the 6900 as the SDIO slot is missing and takes away that little bit of extra functionality.

My 6515 is practically indistructable dropped it 4 times, it is a bit scuffed around the edges but still work perfectly. I advise getting one of those silicon rubber cases, they are like a body glove for the device. Looks good, protects and hides any scratches if you have dropped it.

To sum up.. if you want something that does everything, then get one of these. That's about it..

It is not a good device, my revision hw6515c for example don't have ROM upgrade so the phone don't work ok.
It hangs all the time and don't forward calls.
I call HP and they don't have solution.
GPS works with TOMTOM but they don't have my map area.
                                      I do not recomend.
                                      Buy a Treo 650.
