i hv been using this phone for quite some time. i hv a lot of problems with external/ third party softwares. due to the screen size, im not able to use a lot of softwares which i hv previously been using. i did not anticipate this problem eventhough i was fully aware that the screen is square. if there is anyway to resolve this matter, please let me know as this is a great phone aside from the fact that the screen is SQUARE!

Hi i got this phone a year back. great piece i must say. It does all what you can expect from a PDA. However HP as a company sucks. All it did was create this peice of art,but thats it.. no after sales, no spare parts available even so all their support website addresses are fake. Dissapointing. So I suggest do not go for it if you are expecting any enhancements on this phone. HP is good to make printers only...

Hey all...!
I just bot this PDA... well I felt something strange while charging it with USB.
When I charge it thru USB in "slow charge", the memory further dips. Is it so ????
While it increases when i change the mode to "fast charge". Has anybody noticed it ????
PLS HELP ...!!!

I have bought this phone a month back and works great but i m confronting some problems:
1. Is there any software for my laptop that makes me make modification,additions in the contact book and backup sms to that i can view them on my laptop
2.I have a 4gb mini SD card,but i wonder if this support this,i m not able to sync to this card to its full capacity seems to hang in way between
3.how can we put mp3,and video songs in the card, i used windows media player but it is too slow for me
4.which software works best to play other formats like avi ,mp4 etc
5.it does not have voice command funactionality ,so which is the software recommended
6. is there any third party software for camera availble as theres no night mode available

Please can you help me. I've got an IPAQ6515 and it is in Spanish not English. I no that some people have such probles too. I've changed the regional settings which to all avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please can you help me. I've got an IPAQ6915 and it is in Spanish not English. I notice there have been a couple of previous people who had the same problem and I've changed the regional settings which didn't make a difference and am unable to find the ROM update on hp's website. Any help would be greatly appreciated as i've been messing with this for almost 24 hours now!!!!

recently i got HP ipaq 6515e. I found that it's GPRS works well in 1800 cell but it does not work in 900 netrwork. Here for the voice it is not problem . Since both band network belongs to same operator hence it should work. But in my case, its gprs does not work in 900 Mhz band network. Can somebody tell me ..really it works in 900 band. ???

I just bought this phone 3 months ago. It works great, but until today, after I installed the software Omega One, 1-Journal Bar. This unit frozen, and won't boot any more even with hard reset, removes battery. It only shows the boot screen with HP logo. Please help! to get my unit up and running. Thank you in advance.

be careful! had one, loved it, until upon plugging into the dock to charge it wouldn't dock- because the little tiny "prongs" inside the plug decide to bend! WAY TO DELICATE stick with the mini usb or something beefier! any way hp wanted $255.00 to replace the mother board, I don't think so. btw, they didn't tell me about "icare" insurance until after the fact. -this was my second unit, the first one locked up permanently, - both units were refurbs from cingular. so now i have a treo 650 and hate it more. can any one show me a pda with gps and ms os and durability? God bless.

Hi guys, i brought this device few weeks ago but misplaced the CD that came with it. Does anyone have any idea on how i can load the device on my laptop with using the CD? I love this so much. Pls assist

I have 6515d as well for 2 months . I was having a problem with the GPS but now i use TOMTOM R66 and Teletype software and i am very happy . The PDA is very good for me and i will not change it for a long time

Standby time is about 100 hours on mine. The only issue I have with it is the GPS receiver doesn't always work well with TomTom software. Top phone

if you live in australia, you could buy this phone for only $379 with telstra, i know beacuse i just did, or you just have to pay it off which is $25.79 a month!
thank god didn't end up paying $600 got it!
