got my 6515 a month ago, hate it so much that I am selling for an O2 atom. i can only guess that 6900 can be that much better as the 6515 really really suck. Hp just didn't make any effort to connect the software(windows) with its hardward (THE KEYBOARD) almost useless. goodluck if you are interest in buying one.
ps. another sucky thing is the camera and its software, just don't work at all compare with my old xda o2

Can any advise whether SMS messages and call history be transferred to one Windows Mobile 2005 based smartphone (such as O2 Atom) to other Windows Mobile 2005 based smartphone (such as iPAQ hw6900), or vice versa?

Can we hear from someone, anyone, who has actually used the 6900 and can speak with some experience? Has the phone been released yet anywhere in the world? Or are we all reading and writing about a "work-in-progress"?

Cons:
- 64MB mem instead of 128MB
- only 1.3MB camera
- too thick (18mm!!)
- no 3G
- Bluetooth v1.1 (v1.2 is out for a while)
- WiFi only 802.11b (802.11g is the latest)
- Windows OS (
- made by HP (customer service + reliability)

Overall this phone is definately an improvment from hw6500. But, I agree why they had to put up a whole new show. Only thing they have added is WM 5.0, and WiFi, and 4g weight. But, they should have upgraded it to 128MB memory. That's very important when you are playing games and running multiple applications. Overall I think they could have improved allot but they didn't

Such a disappointment. What HP should have done to differentiate this from the 6515w other the WiFi is to give it network coverage for UMTS, add 128MB ROM,128MB RAM Use MicroSD Card (save space and overall memory is cheap these days they should be able to increse it without killing the budget for R & D), Increase processor speed to 512MHz, change to 16M color display, add 2MP camera. I wouldn't mind then to spend the extra $$$ for a complete "mobile" package

just wondering...
why would anyone get this over the 6515..
in comparison.. the 6900 has less flash ROM.. 45 instead of 64 on the 6515..
and they basically just put a SD Wifi Card into the 6515 to make it the 6900 since 6900 lacks the SD Card slot..
o.. yea it does have a slightly faster processor but it does run on Windows Mobile 5.. so that does take up more resources..
to me..
6900 = 6515 + SD Wifi Card
the processor won't matter because it is WM5 which sucks up more resources..

This phone and pda combined is one of the best your going to get on the market and as for compatibility its way out the best with high processor speed, better than the previous model.
Yes its big,but concider whats inside, the altimate portable pda technology in your hands. standing by solutions and technology.

This phone has everything. Too bad nokia doesn't come up with a phone with comparable specs.
