Bought 2 of these tablets as refurbished items well below 100 bucks. They are a bit bulky, but speed is sufficient and reliability, battery life, display quality are great (for our purposes). So much better than the superstore scrap at comparable ...

I don't think HP designed the battery to be non-removable--it was done by someones mind to make the product unattractive--probably someone from a competing company.
