Friends,I bought this HP slate 6 week back. I am finding it great. Very smooth working. No lags at all. Camera is good though flash falls short. Build quality is good and feels sturdy. Display is very good even read able in sunlight. Till now I have found only one flaw as compared to other phone. When I start dialling a number, it does not show me possible numbers from the contacts automatically. May be you call this smart dialling feature which is absent. Speaker volume is crisp and gives you a good stereo feel. But the vole is low and hard to hear in traffic or crowded places. I though have compensated with loud ringtone. Battery backup is OK but not to the mark or something to write about.
Overall 8 out of 10. I will keep on updating my reviews yo help all my friends out there.
To sum up, with a price of 16000 go for it guys. This will not disappoint you.

It is a good phablet with great features and have advantages of both phone and a tablet. Easy to carry and easy to use. Thanks HP.

I faced the same issue. But by trial and errors, I could install it but my data is lost. First switch off the phone. then press power on button and volume up arrow button together for about 30 seconds. a screen is opened. Scroll down by using volume buttons and select option wipe data factory reset. It will then wipe off the data . Once data is wiped off, then select option reboot system now. Your kitkat version will be installed successfully. But your data is lost.

ican solve the problem , if u upgraded the version kitkat from jelli beam , come Hp logo with colour strip , every 5 sec restart application. i ready to solve the problem , per handset 1500 Rs for solve

first on your pne then press and hold both botton (switch on , + volume ) upto 8 sec , then it swith off , then come some setting, like (in computer setting f10 button ) select format coche ,then reset memories then repoot system , then original Kitkat will come , and ask so many qsk , then enteredd in to new ,,, erased all data ( without eraseing data canot do ) flassh memory full delete and application as additional

i purchaseed this mob slate 6 voice tab , its run under android jelli beam , now i updated upto kitkat ,,but i have sum problem with this phone , after two second it process automatically ,, every two seconds its happend . what i shoud to do to solve
am i change the os to jelli beam or Kitkat will solve by setting

I have hp slat 6 tab today I got notification to upgrade android version . I did and since then my phone is getting logo constant and allowing me to use the phone. Any suggestion please.

Because the phone keeps showing a screen with the 'HP' logo and coloured stripes around it. After a few seconds it shows the screen where I have to unlock and within a seconds it goes back to the screen with the 'HP' logo. I can't even unlock my screen, so how am I supposed to change my settings when I don't even have enough time to enter my phone?? Frustrating!!

First I'm glad to have kit kat now on my smartphone (HP slat 6).
Second, I want to share with you the reader. After upgrade to kit kat, yes I've got the problem with screen logo (always restart automatically), then I just relax & try to find out....and ABAKADABRA !!! PROBLEM SOLVED
You should do quickly screen logo restart.
Go to Settings - Back up & reset - Factory data reset
Wait till reset process finish (almost 20 minutes) & after that you have to fill the data again (like a new one) & after finish, your android will restart & the last......YOUR ANDROID STILL IN KIT KAT (NOT JELLY BEAN) & SMARTPHONE BACK TO NORMAL...AMAIZING !!!
