In the settings there is an option ' data on 2G only'. It is a common sense that instead it should have been 'data on 3G network only'. And I am talking about Indian version of the Hp slate 7 voice tab.

OK, so if this slate 7 with tmobuike data connect cannot be used as a mobile device why did T-Mobilegive me a phone number and why is it I can rreceive text/ SMS mesages sentto that number but cannot reply to tthem? When I first got this tablet therwe was an app installed called "messenger" with a red icon. When iI tried to start it I got a message about hangouts taking this apps place. Problem is hangouts has nonsms capabilities on this tablet so I can't send text msg, but if the tablet is not capable how come I can receive them? Think we aregetting screwed by google. Again.

cute, 28 Oct 2014how do you use it as a mobile device as well coz mine does ... moreThe sim card slot is only for data usage(Internet usage only).So it cannot be used as a calling tablet.Hope this is useful.

Had my hard drive hacked in just 3 months and wanted to get a new security system for my computer and they wanted to charge me $200 dollars after just buying it 3 months ago. I have to say that ill be looking for a new brand of computer because i think that the tech service that i tried talking to were very rude. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Ive had enough!!!.,,They STINK!!!

If you create a software we can download in order to make call but any way your tablet it is good........only if you can create new that we have to create for call I have HP slate 7HD andrord vision 4.2.2 that have sim card space using sim card but it not make calls but it receiving massage
