I got the HP Slate 7 for Christmas and I love it. The only thing wrong with it would be the battery life is shorter compared to other tablets. I use it for both college work and social use and it work perfectly. I recently purchased a micro sd memory card which is working perfectly with the device!!!
Brilliant and I love it - offering some features which other big tablets such as the IPad's do not offer.
I would recommend it to anyone looking for a tablet with only a small budget...

I don't know if making knock-off tablets is a reality but i have this tablet for close to two months now and nothing you have said holds water. Nothing is valid from your comment. And you took it to be fixed and they told you that the device is no good? It's HP these guys design computers for a living... Anyhow i have a problem of my own. The battery runs out to quickly. I have to get it to be checked out.

Do not buy this.
I have this one,my device get stuck when micro sd is inside,I can't open the gallery, APPs cant be instaled on sd card. I turn on my device and when I get message on Gmail-device get stuck and I must restart him :/
The service say : is not software,device is not good

m planning to root my hp slate 7 but it scares me and i dont want to brick my tab. Just waiting for a safest way to root it and step by step tutorial to root it.

and if you want to bring or edit your documents just download smart office 2 on apkmania. This is what im using on my hp slate 7 but there are any other document viewer.
