what is the use of windows phone 7 if it has
    No system-wide file manager
    No Bluetooth file transfers
    No USB mass storage mode
    Limited third-party apps availability
No Flash or Silverlight support in the browser
Too dependent on Zune software for file management and syncing
    No video calls
New ringtones available only through the Marketplace
    Music player lacks equalizer presets
    No multitasking
    No copy/paste
No DivX/XviD video support (automatic transcoding provided by Zune software)
No sign of free Bing maps Navigation so far
    No internet tethering support
    No handwriting recognition support
Twitter client does not integrate with phonebook

this list is copied from gsmarena lg windows phone 7 phone review.
and btw, i think microsoft is following apple's example and is doing similar things as apple did when they launched their first phone. no bluetooth, file manager, too dependent on zune (itunes for apple), etc etc. i dont think playing with tiles and smooth graphics should cost at least 1ghz processor and a barrelful of money. all in all, a extravagantly hyped phone OS, which does not deserve the recognition it is getting.

quite a big disappointment on the overall on the windows phone 7:
cannot copy and paste, cannot multitask and cannot sync with outlook and contact, (will have to install the outlook connector and copy the contacts to hotmail, and resync)
Isn't the new windows phone 7 should be a better version than the previous windows mobile beside the change of the entire interface.
      thumb down.

General, 10 Nov 2010Bro, outstanding review! Now I am really intrigued to get ... moreI got it from telstra on the $49 plan. the phone is free on that plan and u have $400 worth of call and text and 200mb of data. They have a promo running which got me and extra 500mb of data so all up it should have been 700mb but when i check my data usage on the telstra hub i have 1g of data to use. its a really good deal and great value, i thought 200mb of data wouldnt be enough and i was going to change my plan to $79 a month, but now i have 1g of free data and only paying $49 a month and the phone was free! :D

I think the screen is okay it doesnt have much glare if ur under direct sunlight, u can see yourself in the phone if u focus but if ur actually doing something and not trying to check yourself out between txts then its hardly a problem. I can still see everything im doing perfectly well, i dont know if its cause the background is plain black (or u change it to white) and everything else is brightly coloured so it stands out more? or should it reflect more? i dont know but i have no problem texting and emailing under sunlight. I also have it set on auto brightness. im not really sure of the difference it makes or how it adjusts to different lightings, i havent really messed around with it that much .

Ive looked at the samsung and the colours are great. Really vibrant and really just sooo colourful lol. For me personally i find it too colourful if u know what i mean? like abit cartoonish, but thats just my opinion, i dont like it but if its something that u like then its great. The screen in that sense is better. I also heard from one of the staff that like the htc hub it also has its own special features. Not sure about that, i havent looked into it but he said that it has better multimedia feautures. He mentioned better social networking and gaming experiences, photo editing and music players, but like i said im not sure all i remember him saying was(in a very cocky tone), "htc has its own hub but it only has fancy weather and silly little sticky notes." wow. lol i didnt know it was a competition.

Oh and one thing that is also annoying, dont know if its just htc or all windows 7, but to answer a call u have to slide up the tab at the bottom and then press answer. Lucky its capacitive and very sensitive, so its quick and easy but still its kinda annoying. Not a real problem just something petty that gets to me, i guess they did it so u have the option of silencing the call or cancellin it since there arnt any buttons to do that. But if you had an iphone or xperia or any other phone where u just slide the bar or whatever and it answered, then you might have the chance to be like me and forget to tap answer after sliding the tab up and bring the phone to your head as old phone ringtone screams loudly into your ear. You will be shocked lol

I've had mine for 2 days now.. Better than an iPhone4 by far... Best phone i've ever had.. still so in love with it :) I've noticed how Microsoft is sort of 'copying' Apple with the amount of features it is holding back from the OS.. such as no copy+paste, no multitasking... i guess they're taking on board the whole "keep 'em keen" angle :P which worked really well for Apple. Go Microsoft and Windows Phone 7.. amazing piece of software!!!

There is a way to upgrade the memory, i searched it on Google, you can actually take the micro sd card out (with the help of a screwdriver) and put your own one in there (up to 32gb!)

Had this phone for 2weeks now and im still in love with it. im always playing with it and going online, its really fast. when i leave everything on like wifi data connection and those things, and constantly use data my battery gets low really fast. I can use it for up to 6 hours until it dies. But if i turn off data connection when i dont need it and just do other things without it, i could use it for almost 3 days.

i like htc's apps, theyre all helpfull and well made. but the flash app doesnt work with mozart as its has xenon flash, not led. they is also attentive phone, where u can mute calls by turnin the phone face down, and while on a call u can turn it to loudspeaker by placing it face down. imdb app looks amazing and is my favourite really helpful and easy to use. facebook is intergrated into people and pictures but the fb app looks great too, i like it better than the iphone because it looks like the real page, like when your on a pc, and u just swipe through the panoramic view to get to all sections.

i like how it a camera button, its easy to take pics on the go and i personally like it better that u have a button to take pictures instead of tapping the screen, but thats just something that i personally like. voice command work really well for apps and calling people, really simple dont need to unlock.

zune is great, my videos and music look and sound amazing. i use dolby mobile in sound enhancer and i can feel bass in my phone, its really good very loud and no fuzziness that u sometimes get when u turn music up too loud on other phones, like my old htc.

everything on this phone just looks really well made. the apps look great, and are really usefull, the marketplace isnt full of useless crap. i havent seen a fart app! theyre mostly social, lifestyle, news, and software. havent looked into the games i go through xbox live for that, and i prefer to get games that way.

i was really upset at it one day, i was out and used imdb and it just froze and restarted. has anyone had this happen? it has never happend since, but sometimes in marketplace it will freeze and when i lock it and unlock it, it goes back to the home screen. ive also read online that its crashd in fb many times but ive never had this happen.

only thing i dont like is you cant customise ringtones. its not really a big issue but id prefer to choose a song or something instead my old phone ringer lol. no multitasking dsnt bother me, i dnt see it as and issue for me only way it would bother me is if i was copying an address into maps, which is more of a copy paste issue i spose rather than multitask. it would be nice to have multitask but it doesnt bother me that it doesnt. copy paste would be great when they release the app for that, hopefully in jan.

I love this phone. for me its not perfect but very close to. if anyone is thinkin of getting this phone go in store and check it out. i fell in love with the UI instantly, but each to their own. you really have to try it out for yourself before you buy it. some of the things that bother people about it like, memory card, bluetooth, multi task, copy paste and front facing camera, do not bother me, so while i love this phone you may hate it. Just get this phone after you've tried it and decided you like it.

I've had this phone for 24 hours now and I absolutely LOVE it... and I've been using an iPhone4 previously!!! Best things about it: zippy fast performance, beautiful design, easy to navigate, email client is superb, camera is awesome, omg the list goes on.. Bad things? None! Battery seems to last forever (with GPS turned off) my once charge is still going strong :) .. GPS seems to drain the battery heaps so it will only last half a day! I HIGHLY recommend this phone
