I've had this phone for 6 months and it has been one of the greatest devices I have ever had! And I seriously mean it, and have enough backup to say that! I've worked for AT&T for quite a bit now (about 3 1/2 years) so I believe I know a lil' bit about cellphones, and Microsoft has done a superb job ramping up from WinMo 6.5 to WP 7, and HTC did it great mixing it up with its delightful hardware. I understand that you might have got a defective device, but saying all the cr@p you said is just silly... Go to iPhone, I believe you will be happy in there. Anyways, Apple is looking for people like you to suck your money to death...

The most stupidest phone i have ever used. In my whole life i have used nokia, sony ericsson, samsung, LG and even iphone but this phone is the most rotten piece of S###T. I used this phone for 7 months and it made me so crazy that i thrashed is using a baseball bat a screw driver and burnt the rest of the pieces.
To start with.
1. Never rely on this phone - it will start hang then start again at its own discretion.
2. The way it consumes electricity you might have to dedicate a whole new electric socket to charge this phone. the whole battery drains out in 2 hours.
3.You might be about to receive an important call but all you can do is keep on dragging your finger across its biggest failure touch screen to find that you missed the call.
4. Camera - average, nothing you can appreciate about it at all.
5. The name as it suggests - surround sound is very ordinary.
6. I did factory reset three times, lost everything that i had saved but still this stupid phone could not improve a bit infact it became worse by days.
7. The worst touch ever - while you play games or typing a number to call, going through the menu, or swiping your fingers to play the next song. i am sure you will have to do it again and again cause the touch functionality of this phone can make you crazy as me to break the pieces out of this phone and finally burn it to hell. htc service centres simply refused to service this phone so finally had to do it.
the only thing i can praise is the gorilla glass, i was punching the screw driver on the screen however not a single scratch on it, my recommendation is if you have a gorilla glass display dont use any other protective screen. you can simply rely on the gorilla glass.

Please don't compare Windows OS with Android. Windows is far more better than Android. In Windows Mobile only application configured goes to Internet using Data Service but in Android OS goes to Internet and downloads and consume almost all free usage. Even though you install third party application to block OS and its service it still goes.
In Windows you can set application to run in background in Android you can only OS level option allow application to sync background.
I agree latest Windows has harden OS a lot and they should have done that especially Blue Tooth transfer, that's basic feature of Bluetooth.

Nice phone but could be better running android. Used it for 9 months, always crashing and formatting! Had to get rid of it. Windows OS is still so plain compared to android and iOS. My opinion,BUY AT YO OWN RISK! Going for Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S...

awesome phone.... bougt it a 2 weeks back.....absolute fun.... windows os updated to mango 7.5 so easily.... camera is so awesome....shared the pic on fb and quality didnt change.... apps are also nice....loook is awesome... and the slider with speakers is the thing to flaunt with.... AWESOME PHONE .. ONLY PROB IS THE BATTERY LIFE.... with 100 percent can last only for 15-20 hrs.... but battery saver can be helpful.... screen resolution is just awesome...ITS WORTH THE PRICE
