I had this phone for a couple of days. My experience is totally awesome. It beats my iPhone 3gs in every respect from screen to UI to construction is very good. Build quality is far better than samy sgs and I think on par with iphone4. I would say it beats iPhone 4 even in UI. Just waiting for more apps in marketplace.

The key difference betwee Trophy and Mozart is the camera,one has 5MP LED flash and the other 8MP Xenon flash.The Windonws 7 looks easy to use but dont understand why you cant have bluetooth file transfer, how are you meant to send stuff to other phones or computers without wires??Its stupid. Oh yeah the 8GB memory is more than enough, who actaully has more than 4GB on their phones? I doubt very few people

Hey I just purchased HTC trophy over a contract here in europe. I brought it to school and saw my classmate had one also. What we notice is that my Trophy had a lower quality display. How can i change that?
My screen doesnt seem to have wvga screen. is is this a mistake?

No background, I cant see everything on a glinch, i have to scroll a lot to see things like SMS, Calls etc.., no Home Screen to put shortcuts or widgets...
Am I wrong? In youtube the videos are all in french and dutch! :( i want to see a real demonstration of this Win7 OS

What camera button does is enabling you to start camera in minimal time, even if phone is locked(phone will still be locked when you exit camera) and even when phone is off. That's right, camera will start in two seconds when your phone is turned off - is that magic or what?

I messed arnd wth HTC Trophy in voda. I liked the quality of the screen. The display was very visual. Touchscreen responsiveness was same as apple. I was told it has push email and u can sync wth hotmail and like. The internet speed was vey fast and I had good internet experience. The camera is average. Being a window's phone the applications are very, very ltd.It was bews to me reading tht BT file transfer not available. Don't knw whether it has loud speaker.it has word, so for those who need to draft docs, tht wld be useful. The phone is not grt and does not stnd out.8 GB mem does not do justic. Depends how u intd to use phone. Like somethng simple and fast internet..thnk its worth considering..

This the perfect phone i have ever seen ,i like it so much,prefect design and very nice display ,but Why dose it has only 8GB memory!!!! make it 16 GB or at least make option for memeory card like other phone,i really depressed :'(

I dont know what you're use to using but I don't think in anyway that this feelings plasticky (actual word?) or cheap.
Windows 7 so far seems brilliant but as far as we can tell in store no bluetooth file transfer available the camera button unlocks the device and customization is very limited.
If someone doesnt care how the menu is displayed and not being able to get a ring tone on there then its the phone to go for. simple and effective.

I was waiting for this phone.
I use now hTC Diamond i 2 years, have Damond 2 too, so this one should be an uppgrade (I want to stay with Windows) to a better, faster and with more memory phone.
But to my disapointment - it has no memory card slot! Diamond2 has one, but is pretty slow and doesn´t play movies smoothly.
An AMOLED screen would be nice as well.

This is for GSMarena staff. The store that's selling the HTC 7 phones is selling conracts for the phones. Not selling the phone per say as sim free.

what can i say about phone.. went into vodafone to play around with it. wp7 is fast very fast.. but trophy feels.... cheap.. its lite and feels really plastic.

The Trophy is the gaming version, the Mozart is the music version, the version with the slide out QWERTY is the HTC 7 Pro, the Surround has a slide out Surround Sound.
The full listing of each phone and it's specifications should be listed here on GSM Arena or also on the HTC Site. All phones are essentially the same phone with slight differences (example one has a higher Camera whereas the rest all have 5mp, one has the QWERTY others do not etc)
The Trophy is the 'gaming' version not the QWERTY Version, that's the 7 Pro.

Its easier to type on a keyboard where you can feel the keys than on a screen that is flat
