it is a good phone overall.using it for two months. battery perfect.just consume the battery fully until the phone shut down.then fully charge the battery while keeping the phone off.then on the phone.lower its brightness and the phone will boost the battery. do not use power saver all time. updating to ics will double the boosted battery life. speed and every other thing is excellent.graphics equals that of xpera s.camera is better than xperia p

Hassan, 22 Aug 2013overheats alot and isnt just a software issue. battery life... morePls frendz can someone tell me if there will be any hardware problem when you update this phone to 4.2.2 jelly bean.

hello guys am using htc amze 4g of tmobile and not having any problem but this phone have only battery problem only other wise this phone is best android phone i ever used . i dont have any problem with it any one who want buy this phone . buy this phone with ur closed eyes

@ dabasse, ur htc amaze is either a china refurbished or a china re-make tag with htc label. Htc amaze is a very nice android phone n lacks some of the complains posted here except u are using the china refurbished nt the original,if ur phone is heating pls upgrade frm ginger bread to ice cream sandwich,ginger bread uses only one of the dual core procs which causes the heat while gaming but ics use both.

am using htc amaze,when eva am in closed door my network disappear and display limited service some time even outside with different network service and some time the screen blur and hang until i remove the ba3 and fixed back b4 it will display again.how can i fix this?am unable to use hotspot it automatically switch off.i based in nigeria.

I have had this phone for a year on a three year contract having been told that it is very durable. Had problems since the start. It always randomly turns off and is very temperamental. I will have a few days where I can't even turn it on with out it turning off despite being fully charged. My sister got the same phone and has the same problem as I do. Because I dropped mine and a got a small crack though they won't take it back. They won't take hers back either despite it being in perfect condition other than it's own "natural" internal problems. Just overall very slow. Always the last to get Android updates. I really regret getting this phone.

i've been using this fone for 1 month .. no problem at all..best features..cool graphics but battery time is too low .. due to anroaid .. but excellent phone .. no problem till now ..

I have been using this phone for two months now. Its an excellent phone with almost all features at a very reasonable price. Few weeks ago I started facing a problem of frequent shutdowns. I contacted HTC warranty center in Lahore - Pakistan. They took 10 days but didn't do anything. Finally I searched the net and found the solution of the problem. I just placed a folded piece of paper between battery and the cover case. This makes battery push harder to make a good contact with the phone. Problem resolved and battery time doubled also. Since then no issue.
