I way HTC Australia that the HTC Amase 4g from the US supports NFC however I cannot see it on the spec sheet attached to this article. Is it true that the Amaze has a bult in NFC chip?

I'm a mobilicity sales. That's why I can try few different android device. Samsung Nexus S, Galaxy Mini, Galaxy Nexus, HTC Panache, HTC Amaze......... Compare HTC and Samsung. I will give HTC 5 stars.
My first HTC phone is Panache, smoothly, fast, HTC sence make android 2.3 more perfect. The only problem is battery life too short. But i'm not crazy data user, so normally battery can stand a day.
The second one is Nexus S. If u compare the hardware, Nexus S and Panache very similar. 1 G CPU, 5 MP camera....... That make me think their performace almost the same. But I use few days after, nexus S make me very disappointed. Nexus S have better battery life, but beside that all is problem. Signal is poor, everytime lost signal need a min to connect. The touch screen not vert sensative( compare with panache and iPhone). The phone always freezing. The text message on Chinese have code problem. I try to use speaktiot voice assistance app, the phone keep freezing. But the same app at panache is no problem. Panache's ram a little large than nexus S. Panache is 718 and nexus S is 512. That make the phone have different performance. Finally I use a week than back to Panache.
When Amaze came, I expected have the same battery problem with panache. Coz amaze use duel core 1.5, bigger screen. Now I use the amaze 2 months already. Amaze battery life a least 50% longer than panache. Another function all is great. From panache to amaze, HTC have big improve. Fast, smooth, quick....... Internet speed is 43, even iPhone 4S is 21. Amaze didn't have heat problem. When using WiFi hotspot, panache u will feel hot. But amaze only warm, even using WiFi hotspot 30 mins. The 8 mp camera software have great improve than panache. The different not only from 5 mp to 8 mp. The ISO and night performance, can compare with the prosumer digital camera.
Amaze is the first smart phone I will gave 5 stars. Even compare with new galaxy nexus. Galaxy nexus only the screen bigger than amaze. But still using 5 mp camera, CPU is 1.2. Battery life is terrible, panache also better than it. Nexus S is $599.99, more expensive but poor performance. If any people want to buy nexus S because of Android 4.0. I will say the android 2.3 with htc sence 3.0 already can compare with ice cream.
Htc sensation will get ice cream upgrade very soon. I think amaze can upgrade too. At last have a little story. I have a customer used nexus S long time ago. But he broken his phone, but don't want to buy the same one. So he brought a panache, coz panache cheaper than nexus S. His planning is use a short time, wait the new galaxz nexus. But 2 month after, his panache didn't have any problem. But he upgrade to amaze. He told me, (after i try the htc, make me know the real performance of Android. I will not touch the Samsung again) If u ask me, I will give u the same answer.

I've used all htc phone but they all have battery problem from there Google 1 too sensation. But the amaze is really amazing best battery life, and not as hot as the sensation. I'mgiving it 5 star.

well for who asking about this smartphone..let me say its one of the best smart phones in the market now it have all what any one looking for and more even compare with others 1.5 GHz with 1GH ram and one of the best camera features and front 2 mp cam and the design ...this phone i use since month ago and im in love with it ...htc did gr8 work with this product

what kind of protection does this phone have for the display? i have been trying to find out if it is gorilla glass or some other material that won't scratch/break but cannot get a definitive answer.
this is so far the most attractive of the smart phones i am looking at these days, hope to hear something good about the display protection :)

mohamed, 10 Jan 2012hi,u have answered before that the HTC amaze can work on an... moreYes, the Amaze can work with any networks globally though you may have to manually set the Mobile Networks via Access Point Names - APN by adding new APN and configuring it manualy as once you have configure it, it will work very well and very fast including giving you access to email, news, etc.
If you have 4G network, then you will not have to manually set the APN as if not, you will have to do the above. Get the APN's details from Vodafone Egypt so you can manually set it up yourself or have it done by Vodafone staff at their store. Make sure you keep details of the APN configuration so you can re-set it up yourself in future.

Just traded my Samsung Galaxy Nexus for an Amaze and the HTC blows it away.
