if ur cel is not turning on then u plz visit repairer ,connectors adjascent with battery might have got disconnected u get it checked hopefully ur cel ll turn on

So you have to update to ICS. And if you have unbranded Amaze, there is no official update. So, you have to S-Off.

drummer, 22 May 2014Do this really increase the battery timings for my amaze?
Yes. I used to charge my Amaze every 18-20 hours.
Now, with same use as before, I charge it after 36-40 hours.
After rooting, you can install an app called SetCpu. With this, you limit your cpu to 384 on calls and when screen is off, instead of using 1512 all the time.
The less you use Cpu, the more you get battery saving :)
And by the way, something which SUCKS all the battery is location service which is always runs in background.
Go to setting>Location Services & uncheck all three :)

Hello ! The battery of my htc amaze drains too quickly . It oy lasts for 2 hours when continuously surfing on internet through mobile data ( not on wifi ) , so is there any solution to extend the battery timmings? And can root solve this problem? I have also changed the battery but the problem is same..!! However it do have built in apps like of T-mobil which is of no use for me ...

hi,someone please help me..all other settings are responding but my storage settings dont.when i click on storage it says settings has stopped.what do i do?how do i see its 16GB??
