HTC One UK launch delayed to March 29

12 March, 2013

The HTC One will be delayed in the UK from the previous projected March 15 until the end of the month - on March 29.

The information comes from HTC itself, which contacted one of UK's retailer Clove that are offering the device on pre-order.

An official spokesperson was reached by Android Central and commented on the issue:

"We will start fulfilling pre-orders by end March in certain markets and will roll out to more markets as we approach April."

We've previously heard that delays might be incoming as alleged industrial sources stated there are shortages in parts like the camera module and voice coil motor.

Estimates were that HTC could only ship between 800,000 and 1,200,000 units in the next couple of months, but we are sincerely hoping that this doesn't turn true.
