Recently bought one. As specified "4GB internal memory" turns out, it's only 2GB (1.86 if you factor in the GB>MB conversions and software pre-installed)
Otherwise, the phone is great, excellent purchase that I am very happy with.

Anonymous, 16 Dec 2013Budget Yes but only £109 from Tescos. Good for that priceTried one and was very unimpressed. Not that it's a bad deal, just that the Tesco moto g wipes the floor with it. If their were no moto g, then this would be a great deal. I like the fact it has expandable memory, and is built quite solidly. But it's slow, has a low screen res, and has I feel been upstaged by the moto. If you need lots of memory, this however is the best deal in its price range by far. The display is very bright too, makes my Evo 3d look very dated. Don't like the lack of software updates from HTC...kitkat?

SEAN, 15 Dec 2013Sony Xperia M and L both better than this sh*tYup, but this guy's featuring HTC Sense UI 5 as well as Blinkfeed which make the phone look and feel more premium than those of SONY's which give you a semi-stuck android experience.

Stay well clear of any phone with a cortex A5 processor! Sluggish performance! You can get almost the same package in the form of the huawei ascend y300 and its 1.2ghz over htc 1ghz! Just go for moto g as htc always offers rubbish in the budget sector!

The good bits...screen is bright, speaker loud...radio is great compared to say moto G, and yes an external ad slot. Despite a non HD screen pixels can hardly be seen. But no flash led, slow benchmark and laggy on just about everything. But its the best desire yet I guess... Also, it does display apps in full screen with no dots, the latest sense here is like WP8, and over complicated. On balance though it offers more flexibility than moto G...but....the moto G is a lot faster and the better deal I think.

Hi,dear care friends.I love the facts and just write for it!Really there nothing important and valuable in design, performance, features and other qualities mentionable to write about HTC desire 300!It,s exactly samsung s duas with just the little lower quality changes!I think it can,t satisfy the market and find good market with so many better avarage good mid range phones!I can be considered a good low end phone!Ofcourse those who like it may go for it!?But why not the better HTC desire 700 to be chosen for htc fans!?I wish the better and the best for the HTC and more budget affordable!?I have to mention that the smart samsung has broken the prices slashly! Why not good HTC follows the good deeds to have more shares in the ocean of smartphones market!?Best hope and wishes for the HTC+Thanks the honest gsm.
