i bought this phone January2015 and for me working very good. Screen is very good, battery is average and only problem is a little laggy when u run a lot of aplications. For this money totally worth buying phone.

It's good phone i having this is phone from 2013-2015 and it's still working no crashes no virus!! and stop talking crap

Brought my HTC 300 1 year ago, reading so many negitave comments I just had to put my penny's worth in, I'm always using it, I don't play games on it, I'm more than impressed with its performance, it's a top phone, Iv had no trouble @all with mine, I love it, the price was great, I could go on with more positives but will leave it @ that, a great phone, a great price, I was so impressed, I brought my girlfriend one, we r both happy as!!!

In the last two months my phone has been sent back twice because of staying on the HTC screen got it back yesterday and now its got a mind of its own opens what ever it wants types what ever it wants DO NOT BUY A HTC DESIRE 300

I literally just got this htc phone less than 3 months ago and it's already crashing and playing up. They suggested this was the better phone for me. And next thing ya know it's probably the worst. I thought Xperia was bad, but this phone is worse. Very disappointed ...

Why does my hotspot randomly not work. It turns on but when I connect to it on my iPad it doesn't work.

Looking at all these comments, most people are complaining about the slowness, high battery consumption, poor service and app use.

I have had a great experience with this phone but it lags a lot. HTC Costumer Service was brilliant speaker stuffed on the old one, they gave me a brand new phone. Really impressed very good for a Prepaid Phone!

I baught the device in january this yea and in last 1 year it was at the service center for atlest 6 moths horrible experience with this phone

Its ok for the money, and worked fast for the first few months. However, its extremely hard to root the phone and apps crash and lag after a few months..I had to download a clean up app because their isnt much storage, but it has good sound and a nice screen (which i smashed :/)
Overall, for the money i'd give it 3/5

Don't buy this smartphone if you want use apps! It crashes all the time, messages open and close...I'm very unsatisfied!

im lucky enough to say mines a works phone and soo pleased I didn't purchase it, this is not fit for purpose.. total rubbish... avoid at all costs unless you have lots of patience..

This phone is rubbish. Avoid it. Takes ages and multiple tries to read txt messages. And when trying write one forget it, keeps saving them as drafts and closes messages. Very slow will not connect to the internet when on a 3g signal even when showing full strength. Will not allow some game apps to be used when not on WiFi at home.
Please do not buy this phone.

Bought mine on 25th December last year (2013. In June 6 months later the camera just stopped working... another two months, screen started hanging in that it doesnt respond to touch. A year is not even over aaargh! Was it/ Is it a try out phone for HTC company or what. Anyone eyeing it, DO NOT BUY IT. doesn't even have a flash/led light nkt.
