very good phone for actual phone use: the battery lasts and the signal is great.
I rooted it. The developer options come on if you know how to do that. Google. Set up USB debugging from there and then root using RootGenius - it installs a KingUser root.
After that I uninstalled a lot of the HTC clutter/battery wasting stuff. And it is great.

Here in Macedonia, our mobile operator VIP sells this phone for more than 200 Euros (with agreement for 24 months it is free). I bought it, ten days ago, but immediately I was disappointed. First, the phone, (according to me) was with a factory defect, turns itself off, the phone and the battery warms, not served all day. I was in the salon to make a claim, at the same moment, had three VIP users with the same problem, with the same phone type. Incredible but true :)

average cell (bought on 8/jun/2014)...1. due to 512 Mb RAM Whatsapp not working properly 2.Poor Wi-Fi performance. 3.Speed of Connecting to 2G/3G network is very slow. 3. No debugging mode-as i was trying to connect cellphone to my laptop through Moboginie.

Does anybody know what is maximal speed for SD card i this phone ?
I want to expand memory by SD card but does not want to overpay for speed in SD that I cannot use.

Battery is bad.........very very bad.....a full charged battery life only 2 hours...

i own it, its good but there is lack of flash and phone memoery is less.... causing hanging problums sometimes.l.

I have been using the phone for 2 months now. the camera is bad. Battery performance is good. Runs. Quite smooth. Here is the quick video on youtube.

i am using this phone..this is an awesome phone with great battery back up and fast processor..Full fledge phone with reasonable rate...Rate out 4.5 star out of 5

I have this phone for almost a month now. It's a great phone overall. With quad-core processor and 1gb RAM it can easily drive you throw all games without any lag. Multitasking is excellent also. Only down sides are the camera without flash (in light places makes pretty good pictures), and the screen. It's only 218ppi making it not the sharpest screen out there especially outside on sun.

Some bad things.
The screen is 4.5inch but you can hav maximum 4.2 because of on screen button bar. And it is not Miracast compatible iven it has Android 4.2.2. Camera is poor. The good things you already know.

i contacted htc before and they gave me assurance about that.

Does this phone have 512 ram or 1gb ram, one day i see 1gb ram the other day 512mb ram on the specs and in comments someone said he is using a 1gb ram version and is this phone available in 2 versions or just 512mb ram ?

I bought my HTC last week and its already back with the workshop as it packed up on me and when back at the shop they said I must have dropped it . I DID NOT.
By the way here in QATAR IT COST ME $200.
