let's straight to the point,i m using it since 5 days.
Seriously Camera is worst.Software problem is there,no parts available at service station.dissplay clarity worst.
DO NOT BUY THIS MOBILE.
you can go with quattro despite of this crap.

im facing a problem withe the headset, i.e when i update some of my apps and then connect the headphone , it is not getting detected,again when i reset the phone they are working,, please do tell me the solution

It is actually a good phone compared to others, software is upgraded automatically without problem, good camera, amazing in music. right for internet, handy user friendly. All set but battery should be more...

Hi friends
This is my Second post about this phone
Pros: nice camera, long battery, cool design, ok screen, headphone sound (most important for me), not so big to carry ( good size for me), fast internet in SIM one,
Cons: no preloaded file manager, no equaliser (both can be downloaded) constant "invalid mmi code" error, cost more than others same category devices, network problem( it leaves network in one slot and hardly come by self; this problem may be on service provider' side, I am not sure), half of internal storage and 70% ram is already used.( android problem???) Can't play 1080p videos, just 720p,
4.1 only;no planned 4.4 update
Verdict:-Music lovers are invited, sound in headphone is loud and clear than those samsung, LG sony etc.others go alternatives or wait until cons are sort-our.

I want to buy this phone but some people are telling that in htcc phones there is always aproblem in talking..almost tyms tou cant hear the person calling u.....is it true

this is a very nice phone...i m using from 15 days. there is no problem in this handset except one problem MMI alarm message. it is very rubbish disturbing SMS Message.. overall it's very nice.. m satisfied this one..

my new HTC Desire 501 which is two days old is have
HEARING PROBLEM....
I cant hear the person calling me neither he cant
hear my voice.
DOES anyone knows how to solve this problem?
There is also problem of MMI code Cancelled.
Plz help???????

i am using this mobile for 15 days now. Battery is more than average for a android phone. Camera is ok. Sound in speaker is ok. in earphone sound is loud and great.nice size and beautiful design. fully satisfied except one problem. each time i check balance it shows mmi code cancelled. May be there is another problem in second sim slot. It give away network after a while and dont come back until it is restarted or flight mode to normal mode.
other than that fully satisfied

Viyom, 15 Feb 2014after sending a SMS every time my mobile show "MMIS Co... moreActually their Engineers are working on the issue. Once done you can update the same.
This will occur if you try to see the balance amount or related stuffs.

this phone has deffect in software... i brought this few days before and it developes problem in call. i can not hear from other end and other person too cann't hear me. it needs to reset to factory settings to solve this issue and again after 20-24 hrs same proble surface on the phone.
one of my friend too have this phone and he also complain of this problem and hangs to often...

firstly this phone does't have any file manager, you will have to install file manager through Play Store, after installation you'll see all file through file manager...
And for "MMIC Code canceled""
this phone is much much better than grand, quarto,4phone 4 etc, only with 1 issue that's MMIC Code canceled"". it is small problem of software side..I called to HTC Service center and he said "Our software Engg is working on with the same issue, ASAP you will receive the Update from HTC, after update you problem will resolved.....
This problem will resolve as soon as possible.
