kristen300 friend you are right... actually i have noticed these Ranbo lines when i go to Capture an Image in Night or Low Light... These ranbows Intruppting my Pictures.... :) bad

Its a N... morethe dual core or quad core snapdragon 400 is better than this phone processor. the dual core snapdragon 400 is krait based, a lot better than outdated cortex a9, and quad core cortex a7 will be better than this phone dual core a9, i think adreno 305 better than the mali-400 used by this phone. The mali-400 used by this phone is just 1 core, different than the one used by like galaxy s3 that the gpu has 4 core, and it's about equal to adreno 305, so adreno 305 and snapdragon 400 is a lot better.

My Desire 501 is superb but at the bottom of
the display below the three capacitive
buttons,there is a little gap or may be the color
is not put nicely and because of which a little
light comes out from the bottom...which is
quite annoying at night.... This review was copied since even i have noticed that gap So why is the gap???

Yes, you are right about the processor. I also had some study and found the same result as u stated.
Anyway, I want to buy it but waiting for more reviews because Flipkart review have consistence issues.

Friends when I tilt the Desire 501 to a extreme
point from the right and left....I can notice
some rainbow type colors in the
display....please try it at dark....and let me
know that u guys have it

htc are real android king .........best in android class.....rules android league. dual core novathor cortex A9 ....GPU mali 400... camera 8mp rear with BSI chip ( hmmm gr8) ....2mp front with 2mp hd rec capable.....dual sim both active 3g and 2g another..........battery 2100 mhA ........32 gb sd extension...... super lcd 2.....4.3 inch screen......4.1 jb (maybe upgradable) .......1 gb ram ...... htc 4.0+ sense oppose to sense 5 (best n fluid sense till now) ....
what else do u need??????? Go for it HTC is HTC .....

Hello All,
Bought this phone last week for 15300 and is real value for money.
All things are good , except the display quality. Really it would have killed Xperia l, Samsung grand if the pixel density could have been 245 ppi.
But overall the phone has got awesome camera , good battery backup.

Its a Novathor 8520 SoC, manufactured by ST-Ericsson in 2012. It is Cortex A9 based CPU and hence would perform better than Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 and 400 line of Dual and Quad Core SoC which are Cortex A5 and A7 based architecture respectively.
I liked the phone but on Flipkart users are complaing about Screen ISsue as well as its Android version. Otherwise seems a good alternative to Moto G. Confused between Moto G Better Screen and Android version or HTC 501s Camera!!!
