It works well with dual sim cards.
It is better than Moto G dual while considering dual active feature and camera and design.
Dual core processor is more than enough for the regular users. its working well with me.

I didnt get about your flash message problem. I never faced such issue using bsnl and aircel. You are absolutely correct about hindi language reading problem as we cant read full text. I thought this was a app based problem but it seems its a phone software issue.
The software of this phone dont justify its price, but features are good. Hope for a proper software update. Even less price bracket phones have higher android versions than this have bcoz their OSes are light skinned. 501 consumes about 4gb storage and around 500 mb or more ram out of 846 mb total available. Even then its not without lags
Htc do something as you did for mmi error. We dont need heavy skin, just provide quality hardware and let the google handle software completely. Hope you listen. Afterall you have (heavy) SENSE.

The phone is good and value for money but there is a one big software issue in HTC 501 dual, i.e. there is no option to turn off flash sms/cell information/location information/broadcasting sms. I am using Vodafone and Aircel in two slots. So in 1 hour the phone is receiving at about 50-60 flash SMSs automatically. Even HTC CustomerCare can not solve this prob. So I am looking for their next software update....
