Akhil, 23 Jan 2014ketan pls can u confirm dose it have GLONASS ? all sites ... moreIf you live in India, you don't need GLONASS. It is mostly for Russia ...and this phone don't have GLONASS.

I hv been using this phone since 7 days...
Big problem is after every call and sms we get notification " mmi code cancelled"
Loudspeaker are ok but thanks to beats audio headphones, they do the work awesome
Once I was unable to use calls feature but did restart then its working normally
I am not game users so can't comment on that
I love this phone more coz out of every 10 friends , 8 of them say which is that cool looking new phone...

Once again....For those who don't know how to scroll comment pages!!!
I've got HTC Desire 501 dual SIM for INR 16000/- which is far batter than iPhone 4 [8 GB] (Re-launched in India for INR 23000/-).
Here is why;
It has inbuilt 8GB and 32GB Memory-card, Dual Core 1.2, 1GB RAM, USB Pend-rive storage support, 4.3" screen, Better look, user replaceable 2100 MHz battery, burst mode photography, HTC Media Link and NFC support, Face unlock, and it is dual active phone! yes you can receive call on both SIM at same time.
Runs 3D games like Blood and Glory very smoothly!
Still saved INR 7000/- !!!
(for iPhone fan-boys; I have used iPhone also so know it's pros and cons)

Can someone explain to me why desire 501 dual sim is again branded beats audio and desire 501 single sim isn't branded beats?? What is this mess?

can the information in this website be trusted? It states that this phone possesses a resolution of 540×960 Pixles,Snapdragon 400 Chipset clocked at 1.5GHz. These specs are a bit higher than those stated in GSMarena. For those who owned this phone, any ideas?

Guys how many hours did u charge he phone..??It took 3hrs to 100% for me..and does it stop downloading and need to start again from the begining..what to do??and where is the screen shot?

I would like to know whether this phone possesses any chipset and GPU? GSM mentioned none but I check on other websites some claimed it has Nova Thor 8520 chip and GPU Mali 400. For those who owned this phone, Is that true?
