Not even 24 hrs with it and it turned... moreYou paid in Amazon as a refurbished or used phone, may be the person who was using it before have problem with the phone, I brought this HTC desire 510 since the day one when released on brand new condition, I have no problem at all, can di whatever i need. I cannot see any problem with it, I paid $149 for it plus Tax, I am still using it..today

Htc desire 510 sucks. Not even 24 hrs with it and it turned off on its own like wtf htc! Dont like it, and now im stuck with it, paid $100 on amazon for it cant even return it now. t-__-t

Has any one else have a problem instilling or downloadin the new software update every time I try it downloads almost half way thn I get a red triangle thn it restarts any one hlp me I tried every thing

So disappointed as I have the damn space for it on the card.

Beyond terrible. Mediocre keyboard. Memory space is ridiculous. Preloaded useless apps take up most of the memory, doesn't give you the option to install new apps ontappse external memory card. I can't even update anything due to lack of memory space. Plus no back flash! Word of advice, DON'T BUY THIS CRAP PHONE!

Man.....iv just had the phone for a week nd it's kol nd all but I dislike it a lot....camera suks pictures come out horrible....I really miss the flashing led tho....I must say I gotta go bk tomy old phone.....this phone needs to b recalled plis

Got one for free for staying with Cricket. I was still using a battered Kyocera Hydro, so this thing was like a breath of fresh air to me. Screen could be a bit more responsive, the colors aren't phenomenal (let's face it, nothing will live up to Retina), but it covers the basic 5 apps everyone uses really well and its data speeds are really good. Google ecosystem is strong here. Blinkfeed is a useless waste of runtime, but is easily disabled.
Of course, it is the herald of the 64 bit Android era, and it came in unceremoniously, seeing as KitKat is not 64-bit compatible. Newer phones will outpace it.
BUT THIS PHONE IS A SLEEPER. If one uncovers the developer options, they have the choice of switching to Android's new ART compiler, which is the herald of ARMv8 processors. This phone becomes a different animal when a user switches away from Jarvik and forces max CPU usage and forced GPU rendering. Apps are loaded by time my finger leaves the screen!
And just wait until Android 5.0 is released by HTC for the Desire series in May 2015 - this phone may have been forgotten by then, but mark my words, this will not be the same phone once the Aarch64 OS hits!

I lost my moto g and I wanted to try something different. I drive a lot and need to talk on the speaker. It sucks. U can't even hear out it. I tried to take picture and omg!!!! The quality is horrible. The .backcamera doesn't have a flash and even in the daylight it still delivers bad pics. YouTube keeps installing a new version and it's irritating.

Im thinking between this phone and Alcatel Idol Mini 2
The performance is better on HTC and i know that this phone is better than Alcatel but still looking for opinions?

I gotta say i really love this phone. All the haters go buy S5 and than expect enormous preformance,this phone is very cheap for its specs. Only thing I miss is LED flash and maybe that you can change menu screen,I hate it to be all gray/black while searching for an app.
