DO NOT BUYTHIS PHONE..
Two major issues:
... more3 severe problems....
Screen blinking without any reason....
Voice of person who's speaking during a call is not audible at outdoors.....
Thirdly camera during night time is horrible.

hi this phone main problem is battary.
this battary backup is weak this phone stand by talktime is 6 hours and flash light is verry bright less so dunot purches this phone because i am purches this phone at august 20 /2014 i read this phone

Two major issues: ... more purchased a cell phone htc desire 516 dual sim on 20th august from reliance digital,mani square mall,kolkata.while buying the staffs were very co operative and had smile on their faces.i inserted sim in that mobile on 21th august,and found while making calls the voice of the person i am talkng too is very low,almost not audible when i was out in noisy surroundings,and found that volume was set already in its highest point.then today i just went to that reliance digital store and told them about it,after checking and making few calls they admitted that it got sum problem,then they asked me to go to the service center and get it repaired! Thats how they treat customers? Infact the mobile had problem in the first hand,and they sold that,then asking me to get it repaired! My home is 26 kms away frm tha store,and i took leave from work today,i will never advise anyone to buy anythng from reliance and any product from htc either,infact i was willing to buy another set with higher price value today to replace that mobile,they said it is not permitted.

Everything is good but unable to move app's on sd card, plz update soon.......I hope HTC work on my expectations soon...I was purchased it only before 3 days

Hi
Im using htc desire 516 from 1 week. if we forget about camera resolution in low light or absence of light, it meets in all aspects i.e., good screen, playing videos, typing, internet speed. If you use camera very much, may be it cant meet your expectations. another thing is " APPS CANNOT BE MOVED TO SD CARD ". may be there will be update soon. expecting an update from htc.

SKY, 20 Aug 2014i was purchased htc desire 516. but within 24 hours of buyi... moreyes mine phone also start blinking. consumer care people said its software problem..i update my softwares but problem still persist

it is very good phone, I am using this from last one month, camera is good both front and rear, sound is also good, touch is much better, performance above all in prince range 13000-14000/-. and the brand matters, micromax, xolo,samsung, nokia are out of date. its brand new with quad core processor, go for it and recommend to other also. when I use in office all collegues ask and say it's very nice phone
