And watch the difference.moto g is better if u compare because it has:
Better resoltion , better ppi , more storage , better protection , better android , better gpu , better chipset , better battery and even the price.
Who will be fool enough to reject all these for just 2mp front camera rather than 1.3mp (which is in moto g).

I always new that it's a pathetic phone low config just fooling people with the legacy of the brand name..
And people get into their trap....wake up guys it's your money spend wisely.In the desire of Ferrari don't buy Auto ricksaw at the expensive price.

One of my worst decesion to go for this mobile leaving behind MOTO G, I just resold it within half an hour..I never expected so cheap build quality from HTC. Camera gives very bad pictures in the dark though flash is on(literally you can not make out whose picture you have taken...lol).
HTC desire 516, you just made my day off... Will never go for HTC again in life :-(

It's true 2days generation is always after a high-fi brand,,and will waste a plenty of money for it.....
Go check out Xolo q 1100 & Moto G both are only compitor in under 14,000K 1 Gb Ram,Snapdragon 400,Adreno 300+,Kit-kat os,Front & rear camp 5mp+ with led flash,long lasting battery...
Wat else u really need guys spend your money in right place or go on waste money just for the sake of brand instead of configuration.....

There is a mistake in the specs. Snapdragon 200 is powered by 4 Cortex A5 cores, not A7. That's why camera captures only 720p video, because A5 cores support max 720p video recording and playback.

4.2.2 ??? for a 2014 model ? luckily it's not gingerbread 2.3 lol, i can understand that manufacturers save money on hardware to be competitive but android 4.4.2 instead of old 4.2.2 should not have been a financial nor commercial issue

i was confused between moto g, grand2 and canvas 4....but at last found this superb mobile with affordable price with brand name hTC.

Well nothing can reach motorola moto g.Do u know why because it is the best mid ranger smartphone.And why is that? It is because it is perfect in everyway.
The camera,latest android, anything.
Especially motorola is of google.
Just search on internet u will find its rating 9/10.
Or just watch review.
