Since 9-10 months I am using this, It's very nice and very very good phone
Forget Samsung, and buy HTC.

The phone is great but when I click the camera it was just black screen but the buttons worked(the filter etc.) And now it doesn't even open it just say unable to start the camera. Does anyone know why it is like that?

They would email me with a parcel sticker and package note but the email never came so couldn't return the phone! What a shower!

Anonymous, 27 Mar 2015Any chance of this HTC DESIRE 610 to get Lilipop....?there is 90% chance that the Desire 610 will get the Android 5.0 Update. HTC is already working on ii, but you will have to wait some time because they need to test the device and prevent some bugs.

I got an htc desire 610 and after about 2 months it shut down and wont just start up again and the battery was fully charged before it went off so it was not a battery fault. could someone tell me how to get this problem fixed?

Desire 601 - Dual sim card
I think (but i'm not sure) that Desire 610 and Desire 601 are the sam, only difference is the number of sim card slots. :) I have the single-sim version 610 and i'm very satisfied, except the quality of the camera. My previous phone Galaxy S 2 had BIG difference in the qualot, but after all it's just a phone, not proffesional camera.

I have installed htc sync-manager in my pc but while connecting the phone to pc, usb could not recognized. What is the problem?

I purchased my Desire 610 last week and I'm very impressed with the device so far. A sidenote, I upgraded from an HTC Vivid which has a comparable resolution to this device so I was not concerned with the multiple reviews I read bashing the resolution. I do not use my phone for gaming and I rarely watch movies on it. The camera is passable for sharing photos via txt or on social media and there are some pretty decent built in effects for editing, if you're into that sort of thing. Basically, for the money this phone is outstanding. I knew I was buying a lower end smart device but I upgraded devices for the sole purpose of getting a device that would run KitKat and will hopefully be getting the Lollipop upgrade as well. I have only one complaint about this device...the limited 8gb memory and KitKat's inabbility to move apps to the SD card. There are roots available to change this feature, but I don't want to brick my new device. The KitKat OS takes up roughly 3.2 GB of the initial 8gb, so you basically have a little over half the memory for apps. So, if you can limit yourself to the barebones apps you really know you will be using, you'll love this device.

Av downloaded some app in the play store. All I get is is "to be installed soon. Why soon. So disapointed.I need to use my apps.

bad primary camera.blured fotos.i try to make indoor and outdoor fotos and i am disapointed.autofocus is the problem,working bad.no recomended.i buy this phone from vodafone romania in december 2014.conection ok,music ok.sorry for my english...bye

Hi friends ,
I've been using this phone for last two months and i have to say I'm very satisfy with it . No problem found so far .
Few things that i have notice :
a)Average battery life
b)camera and picture quality is fine but there are some lag or becomes slow to respond .
c)Call quality ok
d)Despite having two front speakers sound could have been much better .
e) Awesome gaming I have played asphalt 8 ,Fifa 15 , Dead trigger without much hassle .
Overall its a great mid-range device .

My htc died one day and I couldnt work because it said htc sense input has stopped working, ingot tha t fixed a week later. Then a few days lster the ckip in it came out and my SIM card wont stay in, so right now I have tgem both ducktaped to the phone just so it can work for anotger 4 months. In short, do not buy it!

Altough it's a decent phone, it have two major isues: 1. It lacks touch buttons so a portion of the screen is dedicated to back/home/application tabs buttons, this making the screen to use a smaller portion for the actual image, so you pay for a 4.7 screen to actually use some 4.3. And 2nd problem: The screen it's not too bright either, I wasn't pleased with the quality of the image either. I'm the proud ex-owner of this phone, since I just sold it, therefore my advice is to think twice before you buy it.

Nithin T R, 02 Feb 2015I have seen in few days. Yesterday my phone have 83% charge... moreAlways use power saver i use it and the phone does not drain so much ....if you run a lot of apps that auto update like facebook and turn all the notifications on you will have no battery life.
