Hey guys i just recently bought this phone and ahh it seems like the sim card slot is too small? I cant eject it so annoying. So i tried to take out the sim card using pointy thing and ahh. It kinda messed up and now the phone cant detect any sim card. You guys think the warranty covers this problem?

I'm using it for 3-4 months now and it's perfect! Display size is exactly what I need, it took me a bit to get used to keyboard, but the phone is great! I've had alot of programs and games installed, clogged it so much that battery was getting empty when charged (yep, phone gives you that notification), and it wouldn't lag a single bit. I think I'm down with HTC from now. Tried Sony, LG, Samsung..but this one is the greatest for now :) Good job HTC!

the reviews on yt for this phone doesn't help a lot , but i want phone with good camera and good specifications , and i think desire 610 it's a better choice then xperia M2 , Galaxy Grand2 or Lg g2 ... so i will go with htc.

ken, 13 Sep 2014mine's working fine, hmm did you do the first battery charg... moreif i put it in power saver mode then it is working good :(
at first time i did not able to give it the full charge.. but the next day i turn it off and gave it 100% charge,now its working batter...thnx for the help buddy :)

The HTC Desire 610 is an overall good phone for the good price for $199 on AT&T. I really don't care if the screen is low-res. As long as it has excellent performance, it would be worth buying.

I own one and it's kinda a head turner my buddies keep thinking it's the htc one for some reason XD
as for the size - it's kinda big? I think just as big as the galaxy s5 minus the 5 inch screen since it's a 4.7 inch screen. battery wise it can last more up to 3 days if you use your phone very lightly I get an average of 2 days and I charge in the afternoon at 7 or so with 30~ % remaining.
the camera is great. better then some phones in the same price range. pictures are clear in good daylight it has hdr and the norms. the goodthing about this camera is that it's a bsi camera. not the traditional kind of camera so it takes better low light pictures then regular cameras and captures better light in general which is a plus. navigating through the phone feels great I rarely felt lag I don't think I felt lag so far.I was surprised by the GREAT vibration it has. for me it felt like it had more vibration then most galaxy phones and that includes the s5 and the note3 the diplay is ok for me I don't see that much grains I don't even notice it to begin with I think some reviewers are too paranoid I DONT SEE THE GRAINING AND I GOT GLASSES FOR HEAVEN SAKE. but don't mind that the screen density should be 234 ppi? i think thats good enough I like the screen itself and the user interface its simple and clean one thing this phone has is a super saving battery mode where like the galaxy s5 turns all background apps off and just leaves the essential ones running like messaging calling a calculator and calendar. it works great. it has 1gb of ram which is great. 1 gb insures it wont lag when you run some apps when you're multi tasking. front facing camera is ok i guess I dunno I don't take selfies but my friends do and they used my phone for there selfies one time -_- it was ok you will see some graining I really like the back camera even if it takes a 1 - 2 secounds to capture a shot. quality like I said is great in great lighting conditions specially outdoors.
sony is good but sony might be a tad complicated to use? or so I've heard build quality is good. I like how it feels in my hand even if the back part is plastic, it's not the super cheap plastic that makes you feel like it's a toy. I really love holding it in my hands. the speakers are great! waay better then the sony because it has dual stereo speakers with BOOMSOUND it practically gives you a better watching experience. for me i highly recommend this phone. one more thing. sony doesn't support there phones well. with htc they pledg to support the hpones with software upgrades and updates for at least 2 years sony on the other hand ditched last years phones so I think they'll do the same with this years phones. (my opinion only) best of luck with your decision. oh yeah one other thing. this phone doesn't have 1 mic for noise cancellation, it has 2! so 3 mics all in all for a better call experience. up that sony XD
