HTC Desire 700 dual sim

I m not at all enjoying HTC desire 700 dual sim. It eats battery. There is no 3G connectivity in CDMA at Ranchi and there is no data service in slot to. There is no one to guide at my location. How to use it properly is a big problem.
Would any one help me. Can these problems be resolved. Can I put gsm 3g sim in slot 1? Pls guide.

Ravi Arora, 01 Apr 2014can any one tell me whether i should buy htc 700 or not.??Anyone with the HTC desire 700 should please post its model number which is usually written behind d phone at d battery compartment.

Hi Friends... I got an issue name "MMI code cancelled"... This is coming at the time when i sent an email or after calling to some one, just at the time of showing the balance, because of that i couldn't see my main/msg balance... so please let me know how to resolve this MMI code cancelled issue...

can't show multiple contant... moreHi, I too faced the same issue of Sim-1 slot, error. The solution is this..the phone by default is in Global mode, means, it takes sim-1 as USIM, means Network Locked WCDMA SIM, you know, USIM and GSM sim are different at identification module. The solution is to insert Microsims in both slots, with 3G sim in slot-1. Then go to Settings/mobiledata/slot-1/GSM-UMTS options/select GSM/UMTS mode-then select GSM/UMTS dual mode and OK. The signals get cut and the phone takes your Slot-1 as GSM/UMTS which is suitable for Indian Network. After it is done, the phone works like charm.
Also an important note,,,never use CUT normal SIM as Micro SIM, for my Idea network, the Actual Microsim and the cut microsim(which is used it for a while) has the chip location and design varying. So I changed to Actual Microsim.
Just do the above and update!!!!

Did you update the firmware to 1.80.720.6, check your firmware ver.no.. Battery for me lasts for 25 hours under chatting on whatsapp and browsing...hey this phone eats battery on 3G network, but not on wifi, for that matter my earlier phone Nokia-Lumia-720, hardly lasts for 8 hours ....don't install apps like ram boosters, anti virus, cleaners...they **ck the phone...this phone as auto ram management. Do a format and reuse it without above apps and post your review

Hi, this is a good phone, note that it has USIM and GSM slot. If you are using GPRS-Edge Network, then use GSM slot. if on 3G HSPA, use USIM slot. I never faced call drop issue. If you buy, remember to update the firmware that is available once you connect to Wifi. The phone is great.
Also an important note, the phone has inbuilt cache cleaning option and auto ram management. Please do not install cleaner software, they ruin the performance of the phone, I faced issued of slow response when I installed any cleaner software, especially cleaner master. It does not work well with HTC.
It is a good choice for sure....update what you bought ultimately

Hi htc desire 700 users. Read almost every comment of this phone here. And came to da conclusion that many users are having call drop issue? And still I'm very interested in buying this phone but it will be a great help, if u guys let me know that the call drop issues have been resolved by the time or it's a manufacturing defect....??? a good phone, il use it for 3 days, good quality of camera, good screen, sound, and a simple software with htc sense.
