sajib, 07 Mar 2016Does this phone support htc boom boom sund? if do then how ... moreThe speakers are boom sound speakers but the the boom sound application is missing ,therefore you have to either download vlc mobile app for quality sound enhancements or be satisfied with stock android sound enhancements.

To avoid draining battery, disconnect from the internet or disable dual sim, use only one sim.
I will not recommend the phone to anyone, because reliable source @ HTC told me that they no longer support the phone with updates!

I bought this phone in November 2015 in Qatar. The phone crashes during games. it just gets blurry, then goes on a cycle of repeating audio, then restarts (sometimes not so i have to press the power button long enough to restart). I am getting really tired, playing in the middle of CoC then crash. I already did a factory reset twice. Still no help. Can anyone help me out? Do you think the hardware is the culprit? Any help will do. Thanks.

I got this shit before 6 months and still no updates. So Iv contact HTC support center. They told that "it's not originally comes with sense ui 6. It comes with sense ui 5.3 and HTC.com/sea site provides wrong details about products and please go to HTC.com/hk_en for correct spec" 😠 so guys check again and again and again before you buy HTC.

i have some questions asked to my friends who are expert in this field...firstly i want to know is my fone is rooted perhaps i have installed some apps like cpu-z and benchmark where these apps results shows that my mobile is not rooted but still m confused because majority of 820 users asking for 5.0 update while my htc desire 820s ys is already running os 5.0.2
secondly will it gets official update of os 6.0 if yes then when?
thirdly is there any best way to transfer my apps and games from internal storage to my memory card without rooted my mobile?

hi everyone my name is saud and I am from pakistan...i bougth pin pack htc desire 820 s (ys) about 3 months ago its os was already 5.0.2 when i took it to home and after setting up my google account its official firmware updates arrived in no time i thought it might be os 6.0 but i was wrong after first firmware update sized 300 mb completed in no time second firmware update appeared which was sized about 255 mb i dont no what kind of improvement these updates had made...anyways my fone is working smoothly never hangs its cameras both front and rare are good but not as good as i was expected but still i am satisfied with it battery timing is very good, heavy graphics games runs smoothly...there is a draw back which disappoints it will not allow such games and apps to run that r downlod from websites like hacked version modded version etc and i cant transfer games or apps that r big in size like gbs to my memory card from internal stroage...otherwise the rest of mobile progress is pretty good by its size,design,sound,screen pixel,3g,4g,camera,touch and battery...and o yes one thing more i like to share about its wifi signal catching strenght is poor where other cell fones like samsung and lg with one or two wifi signals can be smoothly entertains there this mobile fails to run such performance.
